Britain will face shortages of fuel, food and medicine if it leaves the European Union without a transition deal, jamming ports and requiring a hard border in Ireland, official government documents leaked to the Sunday Times show.
The Times said the forecasts compiled by the Cabinet Office set out the most likely aftershocks of a no-deal Brexit rather than the worst case scenarios. Prime Minister Boris Johnsons office said it did not comment on leaked documents.

Why would a “hard border” with Ireland be necessary?
Humm. Let’s see. American agricultural products are blocked from their Chinese markets. Presumably, they will rot. Hey, why not send them to the UK? Also, what medicines can not be bought from the US?
I can pretty much guarantee that Trump won’t let Boris suffer.
The assumption is that trade with EU will end
That assumption is fallacious
Pure propaganda and a last desperate attempt to thwart the will of the people.
You can 100% guarantee that statement. Our President has stated publicly several times that the Brit's #1 trading partner will be the United States and he stands at the ready to be their very first trade deal.
Just F’n LEAVE!
I don’t know why a hard border would matter much when there is already a breakdown of power sharing (Stormont).
Yeah I was thinking the same thing.
Help em out for making the brave move if we can.
The soft ones crack in the cold.
There very own globalist government have put them in a position of failure if you don’t agree to what we set up for you

Already in the works....
Brexit on 31Oct .... Trade deal with the US 01Nov
The UK will not go without. And I’m thinking this will pretty much spell the end to the EU, whose puppet masters will be clamoring to their allies in Congress and Wall St to try and destroy the US economy, all in an effort to hurt the President.
If that concern is real, well, Boris should ask Trump for a good trade deal then should Britain require assistance I’m sure we could arrange a repeat of the massive sea shipments and air cargo that we used the last time we were required to keep Britain alive.
Stop! We’re all going to starve.
I think for the British....it’s not much of a deal. For the EU folks, they demand this. Another of the dozen reasons why the negotiation talks were run by comedians with no intentions of building a true agreement.
A month after the exit (now virtually guaranteed I think), the US will step in and there’s going to be one of the biggest trade agreements of the past fifty years signed, and the UK will be a major partner. I will admit, there is a recession coming and will hurt the US and the UK...but it’ll harm the EU just as much.
They can always negotiate a free trade with America.
BS scare story by the one-world era. Britain survived unrestricted submarine warfare and the Blitz, it will survive not being dictated to by Brussels. Anyone believing otherwise is a moron.
Oh noes! Theyre all gonna die!
