House Democrats are reportedly considering retaliatory moves against two top American and Israeli diplomats in response to Israel’s decision to block Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib from entering the country.
Senior Democratic members of Congress are considering legislative action against Ron Dermer, Israel’s ambassador to Washington, and David Friedman, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, according to McClatchy.
According to the report, the Democrats are discussing a possible vote on a statement of no confidence in Dermer, as well as the opening up of an inspector general investigation into Friedman.
Meanwhile, Tlaib’s 90-year-old grandmother, Muftia Tlaib, who lives in the West Bank, used fiery language as she ripped President Trump for his comments about the banned trip: “Trump tells me I should be happy Rashida is not coming,” she said, according to Reuters. “May God ruin him.”
Earlier in the week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cited Omar and Tlaib’s anti-Israel statements in saying it would block her and another Democratic congresswoman from entering Israel as part of a planned trip.
The move – announced shortly after Trump tweeted that it would "show great weakness" to allow them in – has ignited a massive outcry from Washington Democrats, as Netanyahu's government stands by the decision arguing the U.S. lawmakers have an ulterior, anti-Israel agenda.

gosh, i hope the Dem House is stupid enough to do this: the more the Dems prove their anti-Semitic bona fides, the greater the chances that more Jews wake up to the fact that the Dems are no longer their friends ...
Orthodox Jews are heavily trending Republican and that’s the fastest growing sect.
I’m not sure anything can alienate the Jewish contributors enough to open their eyes. It’s like the Jews in U.S. are saying, “I got mine...now you get yours,” as there’s little affinity to the homeland.
Although I am a strong supporter of Israel and the Jews, objectively speaking, I have to view them as stupid smart people, based upon their history....illus. Hitler took their guns and then mass murdered them....that was then. Now? The Jews, being basically incapable of learning from history or having common sense, spearhead the drive to take away their and others guns, so the next Hitler type can mass murder them....IMO, pretty much any of the Dem candidates, given full and unfettered power, would end up another Hitler Fascist type, doing similar.
You have to tease the original, ethnic Jews from the Khazarians (Ashkenazi). Two totally different species.

This would be a poll of Jew-”ish” people of the “incredibly diverse” non-population cited by Rocklin. They don’t go to temple, they rarely attend even synagogue functions— but they LOVE the “Culture” of being Jew-’ish’. Talk to Orthodox Jews about this and one gets volumes of information.
The “anointed” culture from non-believing “jews” is what is treasured and preserved through their liberal vote. The socialistic Statist side of what they THINK is what it should be. Were they to be IN Israel as a community— they would be... Labor Party, Ehud Barak, and willing to “negotiate with terroists” and land grabbers. In short— chicken crap fakes.

Not much they can do, Democrats in the House do not control Israel's foreign affairs nor the State Department which is still in the executive branch.

It’s a bunch of nonsense. Just want to stir up anger. AFAIK the House has no power in any of this. International relations are the purview of the Executive, and Ambassadors are confirmed by the Senate not the House. All they can do is make noise, hold hearings etc.
And here’s the real kicker. The Ambassador is the President’s envoy. His job is to deliver the President’s message. It was the President who told the Ambassador to try to block their visit. There is no point in getting angry at him for doing his job. They are mad at Trump and attack anyone who works for him or helps him. These are the most divisive and destructive people to ever hold office they will destroy anyone if they think it is to their political advantage. Reason, fairness, protocol etc doesn’t matter.
