That was CNN's theme this morning. The 6 am New Day hour led with co-host John Berman trumpeting yesterday's stock market drop. CNN economic analyst Rana Foroohar then said of a recession: "it's here."

I don’t think the market volatility presages a recession in the US. Maybe overseas but the US economy has a pretty good head of steam.

The prevailing philosophy of the Progressive is the current US economic, political and social system needs to collapse and be destroyed entirely so it can be rebuilt by them, for them and in their image.
Destruction is their end goal under any scenario, so what difference does it make. As they say, the issue is never the issue, the real issue is furthering The Revolution
