Shirley Skipper-Scott, the warden of the federal jail in New York City where wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself was reassigned out of that post by Attorney General William Barr, the Justice Department said.
The U.S. Bureau of Prisons also placed two staffers at the Metropolitan Correctional Center who had been assigned to Epstein’s cell unit on administrative leave pending ongoing investigations into Epstein’s death.
Epstein, a former friend of Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, was being held without bail on child sex trafficking charges at the times of his death.

IF she is a Warden in the BOP she probably already gets about 6 weeks/year of paid vacation time. The worse case for her is she might end up as the Assistant Warden in Danbury, CT or some other FED prison. IF they really want to punish her, they will send her to Berlin, NH or some place like that.

Reassignment is an HR move to 1) get a suspected person out of the “area of operations” to minimize any possible influences that they may have. It is a move to defend the environment prior to bringing charges. The analogy is to remove the perp from the crime scene.

Whoa....those guys are actually going need some protection ...if they know any thing at all, anything amiss, they’d better start singing! Reassigning the warden is another way to separate possible co-conspirators...I hope they assign her to a desk and a single phone with a single scratch pad of paper...and has to sit there 8 hours a day. She could take her 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break but otherwise sits there. No cell phones, no computers, just a scratch pad and government issue pens.

We had a postmaster that got caught taking money. He actually did lose his job (I think) but didn't serve any jail time.
