Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is dead, law enforcement sources said Saturday.
A gurney carrying a man who looked like Epstein was wheeled out of the Manhattan Correctional Center around 7:30 a.m. The ambulance went to New York Downtown Hospital.
The incident comes two weeks after Epstein, 66, was placed on suicide watch after he was found nearly unconscious in his cell with injuries to his neck.
The multimillionaire financier is being held without bail pending trial on child sex-trafficking charges. Thousands of documents unsealed Friday in connection with a defamation case against the pervs alleged recruiter revealed dozens of high-profile names that a self-identified victim, Virginia Giuffre, said she was forced to perform sex acts with, from former Maine Sen. George Mitchell and ex-New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, money manager Glenn Dubin and MIT professor Marvin Minksy.
Epstein was busted July 6 over the alleged sexual abuse of dozens of young girls in his Upper East Side townhouse and his waterfront mansion in Palm, Beach, Florida, between 2002 and 2005.
He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted.

What effing convenient photos. I dont know why, but one never seems shots like that of celebs in such medical crises... its convenient for a reason. Someone wants someone to know hes dead.

Who would you trust, in our government, in New York, no less, to get him to a witness protection program? I could see a faint possibility of that in a federal detention center, but a Manhattan jail? No way.
—
From what someone posted earlier, I thought he WAS in a federal detention center, and that the DOJ was in charge of him.
or
If he has been dead already for a few hours, his arms are frozen in a strange position. Would they be able to bend at elbows?
His face seems too ed for him to be dead.
Epstein was born to a middle-class family in Brooklyn, New York. He attended public schools in working class neighborhoods before dropping out of an undergraduate degree at Cooper Union.
Despite having no formal qualifications, Epstein commenced work as a physics and mathematics teacher at the prestigious Dalton School in Manhattan. He was hired by then- headmaster Donald Barr - the father of current Attorney General, William Barr.
It proved to be the beginning of four decades of Epstein’s life encircled by privilege and powerful people.
During his two-year tenure at the elite private school, Epstein met Bear Stearns CEO Alan Greenberg, whose children were enrolled at Dalton.
IIRC correctly, red carpet fibers on his expensive suit and no dirt on the soles of his shoes, yet found in the park. Hillary office carpet replaced at the same time.

Closed Casket, think Bin Laden dumped at sea.
Suicide watch is pointless if a person’s determined to die. He can simply hit his own throat hard enough, with fatal results.
Yes, the Metropolitan Correctional Center is a Federal prison, run by the Bureau of Prisons under the DOJ.
So this 66 year old guy punched himself and died?
They aren't the only ones who wanted him dead, I'll wager, nor the only ones with the juice to get it done.
It’s all over the news.
That’s him.
He didn’t hang himself on suicide watch, ever try to tie together wool blankets?
All I’m going to say is that
Epstein doesn’t/didn’t look like a suicide type.
Those high profile people always thought they have get-out-of-jail-free card in their grasp.
Sounds right.
You are correct, He had the controllers on the hook.
The Guardian, the scum!, is running an old photo, with DJT in it, titled, “Who were the rich and powerful people in Epstein’s circle?” The contemptible trash!
