DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) Theyre flanked by hay bales on otherwise deserted fields, speak atop countertops at small-town coffee shops and tour farms far removed from city centers. Democratic presidential candidates are trying to prove they can gain ground in rural areas that swung to President Donald Trump.

Good luck with that you marxist losers!
I live in farm and ranch country, and none of the Democrat candidates have noticeable appeal out here. The AP really doesn’t get out of the city, do they?
“Good luck with that you marxist losers!”
If they continue with their gun-grabbing agenda, and if Trump holds reasonably firm on our side, they’ll be very lucky to hold on to what they have.
Someone needs to get in front of their buses with manure spreaders . That would reflect how the great majority of residents feel about them...BS.
They’re going to do that with promises of gun control and health care for illegals?
Wait, Marxists LOVE farmers!!!!
Look at how much Stalin LOVED the Ukrainian farmers!!! He loved them so much he stole their farms, grain, produce, and starved them to death.
25 million of them.
They think we’re dumb.
If GOD didnt want them sheared he wouldnt have made them sheep. The Magnificent 7. Im thinking rural America will tell them. Ride On.
We should never ever take a voting block for granted.
They are going for Texas and other areas BETO Boy was their test, he DID put up a fight against Ted Cruz.
RE “Ride On”:
Real Americans can spot the dems’ bullshit a mile away.
Ride them straight of town... on a rail.
Preferably tarred and feathered.
How? By doxxing them, harassing them? Calling them racists? Nazis? White supremacist? I hope rural America gives them the middle finger again.
Bump
Oh you bet. By promising Medicare for all, higher taxes, open borders, and the green New Deal all while confiscating every gun
Thatll sell well
IF these are the issues rural farmers are concerned about and Democrats are exploiting these issues I can see them gaining ground.
The question is ARE these the issues farmers are concerned about?
Does anyone have any specific insight on these issues and how farmers view them?
Howard ‘The Scream’ Dean did really well with rural voters in 2004, didn’t he? ;-P
Take this seriously, people are pretty riled up.
Rural broadband will just get their kids addicted to porn and video gaming, the heck with helping their folks on the farm...
Reputations and gun control is a sure winner there.
Fake news.
