“Let’s see how illegals first, gun confiscation, and higher taxes plays in the sticks”.
It doesn’t necessarily make sense, but I’m actually hearing people who want the universal income. Given that this would cost trillions a year, I’m not sure how this can be expected to not end badly. Also the universal health care. Somebody is going to have to crunch the numbers and publish the info in a format that makes sense to most readers.
There is also the probability that they want to make the GOP spend money on safe districts.
How to win back the House in 2020.
At minimum, flip rat seats in MN 7th (Colin Peterson), keep the two MN seats won in 2018, IA 1/2/3/4, ILL NW corner seat using IA media market in Davenport IA to WI border, Kansas City KS seat, OK City seat.
All dominated by ag, push USMCA to limit if passed or failed. We should net 7 seats here.
We have 2 billion to spend. Saturate TX and make sure all new candidates are pro-Trump. Easy pickups in NM and UT also. 11 seat pickup in Plains and Mountain states.
Thanks
No chance. Clancy
Country folk aint stupid
In Iowa, there are maybe 20,000 farms that yield a full-time income to their operators. Thats not a lot of voters to pander to. And even in a farm state like Iowa, financial services and manufacturing far exceed the money generated by agriculture.
I'm sure they mean Iowa and not Texas. Beto aside you're still a lost cause to them.
Don't poo-poo Iowa. Democrats flipped two congressional seats there last year and the farmers have seen crop prices fall throughout Trump's term. With the trade war they're in a free-fall. If people do vote their pocketbooks then Iowa is not a lock for Trump in 2020. Democrats could take it or they could blow it; even money on which they do.
And all those businesses that support the 20,000 farmers that are seeing their profits take a hit with the downturn in farm income? How many of them vote?
Uh the Kansas 3rd seat is completely suburban KC. Talking ag there is pretty much a non-issue.
Thats the point. MSM and others demonize farmers when politicians are appealing to a broad spectrum of people employed in services and manufacturing that depend ultimately on farms being able to make money.
They’re probably planning to buy your votes with more farm subsidies.
Based on my past experience with farmers, that might work.
“Democrats say...Democrats do...A Democrat charged today...” Same shit. Different day from these liars.
