A former friend of the gunman who slaughtered nine people outside of a Dayton, Ohio, bar said he cut off their friendship when the mass shooter held a gun to his head about five months ago, a report said Monday.
Will El-Fakir, who went to the same high school as gunman Connor Betts, told the Dayton Daily News that Betts had been “getting a little violent with friends” and began to bring guns around them in recent months.
Betts then held a gun to El-Fakir’s head about five months ago for no reason, he told the newspaper. El-Fakir said he cut ties with Betts after the incident.
El-Fakir told the newspaper he recounted the incident to Dayton police officials Sunday afternoon.

El-Fakir added that he’d witnessed strange behavior from Betts before the gun incident.
“There were times when he went to bars and just scoped the place out,” El-Fakir said.
“He’d say, ‘If I brought this-or-that through here, it would have done some damage.’”

Have to wonder what school administrators knew of the bullying that the Florida shooter endured. The girl who made the rounds with Hogg was allegedly one of those who bullied the shooter in school.
Antifa also held a memorial for their terrorist member who died firebombing an ICE facility (with the intent of maiming and killing people in an explosion).

i had an increasingly violent and irrational cousin who no one ever, ever made reports on. My aunt was embarrassed and all hell would have broken loose if any one in my family had called a cop.
he got a gun. did not hurt anybody but alot of talk.

And what exactly are the cops supposed to do? Arrest Betts from bringing guns around his friends? (FYI: I always carry a gun around friends.) For speculating about the damage that could be done if someone started shooting in a crowded place? (I do that all the time -- Its call situation awareness.) The only crime is pointing a gun at someone's head -- for fun --- but without a witness, the cops are not going to make an arrest.

Problem is that after One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1962) and the Community Mental Health Act of 1963, that even if the law were changed, the mental health resources don't exist and aren't likely to exist, at least in our lifetimes. There is a severe shortage of psychiatrists (gov't "experts" underestimated the need for psychiatrists) and inpatient psychiatric hospital beds.

If you point out that a FRIEND of a killer (one friend of several identified, who did absolutely ZERO wrong) is a person of color, shall we presume you are a racist because you noted it? Yes, I would say you are.
A kid that happens to have an arabic last name. Who could be Christian for all you know. This maniac shoots and kills 9 people in cold blood, and we start pointing out that “hey, ONE OF HIS FRIENDS HAS AN ARABIC LAST NAME??? Maybe he’s in on it!!!”.
