New York Magazine Washington Correspondent Olivia Nuzzi gave a play-by-play of Streisands seemingly impromptu political moment during the concert. According to her tweets, the singer polled the crowd to find out if there were more Democrats or Republicans and proceeded to sing a parody of Send in the Clowns about Trump. The Trump supporters in attendance, Nuzzi said, were irritated and shouted Just sing!

Oh yeah. Has everyone forgotten her quote from Shakespeare (which turned out to be made up) that she used against President Bush?
Oh, it was in “sag-in-awe”?
She - along with Bette Midler and Cher - is huge in the gay community. Yooge!
indeed and get your dog first class plane seats
She’s always been loony.
Sometimes I like her voice but less and less these days.
Why would anyone with any sense who knows anything about Barbara Streisand’s political views pay her good money to hear her sing.......
I had the same problem at a concert for Sammy Davis many moons ago at the Circle Star in San Carlos where he went on and on about race. After paying an arm and a leg for tickets, I finally had enough and hollered at him to sing. He couldn’t ignore me I was setting in the third row and he said he was singing.
lol
my FIL HATED BS. bashed her relentlessly.
alas....he is gone, and she is still here.
I don’t understand why any normal person would contribute a penny to that washed up slag.
Oh I have seen some great concerts at the Circle Star that was a great venue!
Always thought she was a lousy actress, too.
She should keep her nose out of politics when she is performing.
Emotional support animals of the rich and famous
Who cares what the old tranny has to say...
Why would anyone go to a Streisand concert?
If it gets cold in SoCal she’s ready with those six fireplaces!
It’s unfair that overrated egomaniacs like Streisand go on and on like the energizer bunny, while classy, super talented entertainers such as Karen Carpenter die much too soon.
What’s even sadder is that Carpenter’s family, specifically her narcissistic mother, was the cause of many of her problems.
I will admit to liking Streisand’s “Guilty” LP, although I credit Barry Gibb for much of its success.
Billy Joel was correct about one thing: “Only the Good Die Young.”
