re: “The article said Crosius was made fun of for wearing hand-me-down clothes, but the Allen neighborhood where police cars were seen last night looked very upscale.”
They say he attended PLANO HS, that is a city SOUTH of Allen. And, Plano has TWO high schools, Plano East and Plano West; the two are also rivals (as one might expect).
Something does not fit ... Allen has it’s OWN HIGH SCHOOL. Always has. In fact, they JUST built a NEW ONE (a HS) a few years back.
SOMETHING DOES NOT FIT.
WHy did he live in Allen but attended a Plano HS (AND they don’t say which one.)
I live in this area - I’m not just idly speculating.

I checked, Allen and Plano are 6.5 miles apart. In a metro area like that, everything is usually 6.5 miles plus for where one wants to drive.

Plano has 3 senior high schools: Plano West; Plano Senior; and Plano East.
He attended Plano Senior.
That school gets fed from both middle class and poor areas.

I remember when Plano had one 3AAA HS and a good football team yearly and was in the same district as Bonham. Allen was a 1A school back then. That area has exploded with respect to population. Pilot Point was a 1A school back in the 60’s too.

Like the guy in California last week, this guy seemed to be a mix of left-wing and right-wing concerns: sustainability, overpopulation, depletion of natural resources, too much corporate influence, loss of national identity, too much immigration, and fears that we are turning into a one-party state.
He also had muddled ideas about race and ethnicity: expressing sympathy for the Indians; opposing unrestricted immigration; and opposing "race-mixing," a sort of racial identity politics which did not exclude WHITE identity politics.
So MOST of his views were rather common and unexceptional - it was his bizarre and murderous "solution" that singled him out.

I don’t know how it works down there, but one possible explanation is that the kid might have been sent to another high school outside the district for: (1) disciplinary reasons, and/or (2) special education needs.

If you live in the area, do you have access to Voter Registration information in the county?
There has been a lot of ‘talk’ that the shooter may be a Democrat or maybe is a Republican.
