Like the guy in California last week, this guy seemed to be a mix of left-wing and right-wing concerns: sustainability, overpopulation, depletion of natural resources, too much corporate influence, loss of national identity, too much immigration, and fears that we are turning into a one-party state.

He also had muddled ideas about race and ethnicity: expressing sympathy for the Indians; opposing unrestricted immigration; and opposing "race-mixing," a sort of racial identity politics which did not exclude WHITE identity politics.

So MOST of his views were rather common and unexceptional - it was his bizarre and murderous "solution" that singled him out.

Sounds like he consumed a lot of convention, main-stream ‘nooze’ ... (I mean that in a semi-humorous rather than deep-seated analytical sense)
