CINCINNATI—Donald Trump’s supporters would like to be clear: They are tired of being called racists.
Leave it to the president’s eldest son to set the tone. Last night at the 17,500-person-capacity U.S. Bank Arena downtown here, Donald Trump Jr. strode onto the stage two hours before the president was scheduled to speak. The venue was already brimming.
It had been a rough week for his father. On July 28, President Trump was once again deemed racist after lashing out at House Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings, whose district includes part of Baltimore. Trump referred to the city 40 miles north of Washington as “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess” in which “no human being would want to live.” Those comments came shortly after the president suggested that four progressive congresswomen of color “go back” to the “totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” prompting the crowd at his July 17 rally in Greenville, North Carolina, to chant, “Send her back!” Trump—though he later disavowed the chant—did nothing to stop it.
Last night, Trump supporters in Cincinnati were eager to defend their man.
“It’s amazing that when Donald Trump makes a comment about Baltimore, it’s racist, it’s terrible, it’s this. But when the mayor of that town, when the congressman from that town, says the exact same thing, ‘Oh! No problem!’” Trump Jr. boomed, referring to a statement that Cummings made in 1999, calling Baltimore “drug-infested.”
“It’s sad,” he continued, “that using ‘racism’ has become the easy button of left-wing politics. All right? Because guess what? It still is an issue … But by making a mockery of it by saying every time you can’t win a fight—‘Oh! We’re just gonna push the button! It’s racist’—you hurt those that are actually afflicted by it.

FWIW, I could care less anymore. I’ve been labelled “racist” since the odongo years. Like everything else liberalism touches, the word has been completely destroyed.....done, it means nothing. It’s just a ‘filler word” like “ahhh”, “hmmm”, “errrr” etc. for lib talking points.

I would love a Trump rally where he would tick off a bunch of Democrat politicians, celebrities, journalists, and after each of their names, the crowd would chant “racist, racist, racist”. Make those hypocritical clowns defend themselves, and waste time explaining why that word should not be abused.

My new reaction to a racist charge:

They have devalued all the “ist” & “isms” they call us I don’t give a hit anymore. The question begs does the rest of society, aka they are now crying wolf, HR might take is seriously, they are about fending off lawsuits, but does it even not work their soon, it is getting that ridiculous.
Ask a Trump supporter if they’d like the Supreme Court to be made up of 9 Ruth Bader Ginsberg clones or 9 Clarence Thomas clones. If they answer, “Ruth Bader Ginsberg”, then you’ve found a racist.
I wouldn’t bat an eye anymore. I love my fellow conservatives of all colors, but liberals? I don’t like them, and I don’t give a damn about their opinions.

Between the charges of racism and the ridiculously termed White Privilege game whereby whether you agree or disagree you are a racist because you are white, you play their hand by even acknowledging their premise. No one is playing now. In fact, people are getting very serious about ending the game completely.

He/she/it calls you a racist. Or a homophobe. Or an Islamophobe. Or misogynist. Or some combination thereof.
Screw these people, they’ve made political discourse absolutely impossible. We used to solve problems by talking about them, with everyone listening (not hearing, but listening) to everyone else, and picking out the best points and arguments and going with them. Now that is impossible, because any disagreement with their uber-Leftist (i.e. Communist) POV is deemed to be racist, etc. They are interested in power, and ONLY in power. When you see how they act when they don’t have it, you should be able to predict how things will be if they actually get it back again (hint: read the Gulag Archipelago as a reference guide).
Yes, now real racism can’t get any attention because the meaning of racism has been destroyed.
Ditto for misogynist. None of these intellectual pygmies has yet to use the word in its proper context. They have no idea what it really means.
