It’s a phenomenon that we’ve been monitoring now for more than a year: There is a concerted effort by the growing Leftist/Marxist faction of the Democrat Party to create mass chaos in our biggest cities through implementation of policies that are neutering police.
What’s more, the end result is very likely to be mass walk-outs at police departments in our biggest cities, followed by periods of anarchy, leading to a permanent inability of these same cities to attract and hire enough cops to even put on the streets without major changes in policy and leadership.
You may recall in recent days an event which occurred in one of the most unlikely of places: New York City, where two young police officers were criminally assaulted by onlookers who drenched them with water and even struck one cop with an empty bucket.
The video has shocked Americans all over the country, many of whom are scratching their heads as to why NYPD officers would allow this to happen.

This is why I live in the country and carry when I drive to the city.
It's not so much a laugh, when I hear of some city dwelling Leftist animal getting all pissy about the lack of police protection, from his hospital bed. It's more of a shrug, and a click on a story of airbrushing a plastic model...
I’m past the limit. I long for the time when progressives cower in their houses lest they have to face the wrath of pissed off US citizens.

Same thing is happening w/EMS workers - there was a news feature lately about the St. Louis area. The lawlessness, trauma cases, murder rate are leading to paramedics quitting and difficulty hiring people to pick up the casualties of urban warfare.
Then the Left can say, “Look, RACISM!! Send us more money for the problem!” Rinse and repeat. It’s very cynical and evil.

It is getting worse with the SPD under manned and supported from the city and the council of Liberal/Marxist lunatics.
This election is a huge deal for the Seattle. Either turn the back the tide or fall off into the abyss of Marxist malaise.
I feel as you do. And this sentiment is growing fast.
The Left is working hard to bring about chaos in the cities they control, I believe with the intent of compelling the U.N. to occupy those cities under the “Kigali” principles Obama agreed to in 2015.
If the extent of the Treason the Democrat party (and quite a few RINOs as well) are involved in was ever properly acknowledged and dealt with we would have severe rope shortages.
I disagree. The urban police have militarized and become extremely aggressive and they’re also contemptuous of the Constitution when it becomes inconvenient.
Too many departments like San Antonio, Albuquerque, Mesa, Phoenix, anywhere in New Jersey, and etc. have earned the hate by murdering people (sometimes other cops) and then ‘investigating’ and predictably clearing themselves 99% of the time.
They’re busy earning the hate.
And you know what really makes you hate bad cops and corrupt departments?
Good cops and honest departments.
We moved from California to Wyoming and the local LEO’s are our neighbors and they act like it too. In California they act like a privileged army of occupation and then wonder why they’ve inspired an insurgency.

An NYPD cop with 5 years of service makes around $85,000 a year, plus benefits. An that’s not counting overtime pay or shift differential.
A package would be difficult to walk away from. So I could see some NYPD cops slowing things down a bit. But I can’t see many of them quitting in disgust.
Does $85,000 get you a decent living in NYC?
This happened in Houston last year. Fortunately, the victim's families were able to afford a private investigator who blew the lid off the HPD whitewash/coverup.
The left does everything in extreme.
We need cops, but with every group, there are a small percentage who are not fit to do the job. Deal with the problem makers and don’t paint the entire police profession with the like a teacher punishing a class of kids because she doesn’t know who did it.
Responsible cops are good, but there’s always one who is either a bully or is lazy.

We have friends who live in Seattle...LIBERALS...formerly from Canada...(I’m a native of south of Seattle)...anyhoo...I’m watching this election too....will see if enough citizens come to their senses...
