Harvard professor suspended after probe of sexual harassment claims

Harvard University has suspended an economics professor accused of sexual harassment after a probe determined he “engaged in unwelcome conduct,” according to a report.

Roland G. Fryer Jr., 42, was placed on a two-year administrative leave and his campus research lab will permanently shutter as a result of the investigation, the Harvard Crimson reported Wednesday.

Drop in a comma after the word probe in the head line and it makes the whole (not hole) thing much more sinister sounding.

No, that’s been part of the lexicon for a long time. I pointed that out to a supervisor years agonizing. She laughed.

If anything, that part willl go away, or is already on the way out.
