I should be pretty clear by now that, Mueller was just the figurehead for the “Mueller” investigation. The hired Trump haters did all the work, with perhaps Mueller being advised on the process but having no real input into who/what/where/when/which/how. IOW, he was basically worthless.
It’s no wonder that he had to be rehearsed the last few weeks on “his” report, or he would not have appeared at all. Even so, he was clueless and lost and defensive. In fact, the democrats in the committee did all the work for him, with their questions which required no answer from Mueller, since those questions were basically Mueller’s answers posed in question form. They were ‘leading’ questions, and Mueller knew to either say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ as instructed before he appeared in the hearings. No doubt, Mueller was ‘given the questions and answers’ before the hearings, like Hillary in the 2016 election. Even so, he appeared clueless and lost and feeble, and wishing this whole thing had never happened to begin with.
In any case, the democrats just held a press conference where they were basically saying thanks to Mueller while also saying goodbye to the whole collusion/obstruction case against Trump. They could have done that 2 years ago, before the hoax even got started.

With no evidence to support any investigation, Mueller should have deep-sixed the project on day one.

Mueller would have driven around the world on a go-cart if anything could have taken down Trump. At the same time, he wouldn’t take a limo across the street to find out who these entities were, how Hillary Clinton and the DNC figured in, and how may people co-conspired to pull off a coup.
If there was a statute to cover it (for the position he held), and perhaps there was, Mueller should be charged and tried for obstruction himself.
