I should be pretty clear by now that, Mueller was just the figurehead for the “Mueller” investigation. The hired Trump haters did all the work, with perhaps Mueller being advised on the process but having no real input into who/what/where/when/which/how. IOW, he was basically worthless.
It’s no wonder that he had to be rehearsed the last few weeks on “his” report, or he would not have appeared at all. Even so, he was clueless and lost and defensive. In fact, the democrats in the committee did all the work for him, with their questions which required no answer from Mueller, since those questions were basically Mueller’s answers posed in question form. They were ‘leading’ questions, and Mueller knew to either say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ as instructed before he appeared in the hearings. No doubt, Mueller was ‘given the questions and answers’ before the hearings, like Hillary in the 2016 election. Even so, he appeared clueless and lost and feeble, and wishing this whole thing had never happened to begin with.
In any case, the democrats just held a press conference where they were basically saying thanks to Mueller while also saying goodbye to the whole collusion/obstruction case against Trump. They could have done that 2 years ago, before the hoax even got started.

The problem for them is that Trump is running .... and he will remind everyone of what the demokraps did and stand for ... lies, hoaxes, spying and destroying innocent people. Depending on how well Barr restores the rule of law in going after the perpetrators ... there is no easy place for the entrenched demokraps to hide.
