Fox News Anchor Chris Wallace called former special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony a “disaster” for Democrats on Wednesday.
Wallace’s comments come as Mueller testifies before two House committees over his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and potential obstruction of justice by President Trump.
The “Fox News Sunday” host told anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum the hearing has been a disaster for the Democrats and the reputation of Mueller, saying the former FBI director "doesn't seem to know things that are in the report."
Mueller's testimony has been marked by stuttering and regularly asking committee members to repeat their questions. At one point, Mueller, referring to Trump, called him "Trimp." Oftentimes he looked confused and was slow to react.
Calling into account Mueller's performance, Wallace questioned the level of his involvement in the investigation.
"I think it does raise questions about the degree to which he actually was in charge of and in control of this report because he doesn’t seem very much in control or charge of what the final report was, I should say whether he was in charge of the investigation because he doesn’t seem in charge of what the report actually says," he added. Wallace supported his claim by citing Mueller's failure to defend himself and the integrity of his investigation.
"He’s been attacked a number of times and you would think that almost anybody else would have defended his own integrity, the integrity of the investigation," Wallace continued. "Over and over, Mueller just sits silent and lets the attacks from the Republicans to sweep over him and says nothing."
The president himself tweeted Wallace's remarks decrying the reputation of Mueller.

Mueller's sad performance is far from over. He is set to testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee today as well.

A presidential administration plants spies in the campaign of the opposing party candidate, concocts a phony “dossier” in order to provide a tissue thin basis for using the fell powers of government to harry and intimidate members of the opposing party’s campaign during the election, and to hinder the functioning of the opposing party after it is in office.

They illegally surveilled and unmasked members of the Trump campaign and likely his family. In order to cover this up after the fact they HAD to obtain a FISA warrant, which legally allows the government to go backwards in time to listen to and look at all forms of communication. It was a set-up for a cover-up. The “damage” was just a bonus to those who promoted it, but the real reason was to cover a bunch of butts after you know who unexpectedly won.
This needs to be understood by everyone - a FISA warrant allows for “retroactive” surveillance. There was NO legal basis for the surveillance they conducted prior to the FISA. It was ILLEGAL. This started as a CYA and later morphed into a coup attempt. It was so sloppy because they did not expect Trump to win! When it appeared Trump was going to be the nominee the FISA was the insurance policy. When he won, they did not know what to do so they pulled out all the stops always believing that “something” would be found. It was not.
Yeah but, if Deep Throat worked once, you had to give Deep Pee at least a chance.
Local Fox AM/FM affiliate had been running the House production of the Mueller show hearings live. As expected the Party of Perverts ( who claim they’re democratic but are that in name only) own the stage and script for this Kabuki theatrical production. And as expected have been using the failed Trump Towers Moscow as the reason he won with Russian help.When hammering away he was colluding with Russian hackers that broke into DNC sekrut files so he could make millions but not key members of the democrat party .
All this abomination has done is prove once again that the primary qualification for being a Democrat politician is to be an hysterical fool.

Because there is nothing the libs wouldn’t do to hurt POTUS, I see the possibility of Muller being declared incompetent, a condition that only now is being seen, but that was in effect during the investigation.
That being said, the finding of the investigation are in question and so, the investigation should be redone.
I so hope I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t put it past them.
As bad as Chris Wallace can be, it’s still a miracle how much better he is — even at his worst - than his father, Mike Wallace, was. Now, THAT guy was a jerk.

“So what the heck happened to all of the people saying for SURE that the Dems “rehearsed” all the answers beforehand, and that this is all a big “set-up”?
