Trump was right all along about Puerto Rico, with protests blowing apart Democrats' hurricane (T)

Democrats have cynically dined out for years on the false narrative that President Trump was always trying to hold down Puerto Rico.

He hasn't resigned as the hundreds of thousands in the streets are demanding, saying he wants to finish his term before leaving with no re-election run, and that hasn't stopped the protests. In fact, they are going on full blast right now. He cheated them, he enriched himself, like his mentor Hillary Clinton, he effectively called them deplorables, and they were the ones who had to suffer the hurricane damage because of his Clintonesque contempt for them.

Conclusion? Trump was right all along. The U.S. under President Trump tried to help the island recover from its hurricane disaster and the local Hillary-linked leaders were the ones who kept it from getting to the locals - quite possibly in part because they wanted to Get Trump.

PR should be cut loose. Give it’s US citizens a choice to either repatriate to the US or remain in PR as expatriates. Set a date to where anyone born on PR is no longer a US citizen by birth. Phase out federal funding over a period of years to allow them time to get their financial mess in order.

Will it happen? No, because we have a feckless, hot mess of a Congress incapable and unwilling to work on behalf of the electorate that put them in their cushy taxpayer funded jobs.

Why did Republican Secretary of State Luis Rivera Marin resign? Next in line to the Governorship if there is not a new SOS is Justice Secretary Wanda Vazquez, a rat.

Officially, he was involved in the chat room although briefly. Not officially yet, he was involved in changes to contracts that favored political allies. But mostly, he had recently committed a series of blunders that have led many to question whether he was capable of governing. Also, many people think he left to give the governor some leverage or room to maneuver by leaving the position vacant. And then there’s additional talk that he is negotiating an exit that involves a consensus new Secretary of State.

Any or all of the above, really.

First of all, Puerto Ricans, while living in Puerto Rico, are SUBJECTS of the United States. Only when they come to the mainland of the United States, are they actually CITIZENS, and only while they remain here.

Where did you go to school?

Question: Can Trump send troops to get the Guv out of there or does he need to be impeached first?

Impeachment. I’m about to post a cringe-worthy interview with the Governor on Fox. Stand by.
