In the few remaining days where Trump's controversial tweets will still be talked about, you must be able to appreciate when someone delivers a spot-on burn. Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy nailed it last night while appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News .
"I don't think President Trump is a racist. I don't think his original tweet was racist. I think it was a poor choice of words, which is why he clarified," Kennedy said, pointing out that Trump has since said that anyone who hates America is free to leave."I'm not sure the president should exchange playground insults with them. When you try to argue with a fool, that proves there are two. But the president decided to do so," Kennedy continued. "The simple fact of the matter is that the four congresswomen think that America was wicked in its origins."
"They are entitled to their opinion. They are Americans. But I'm entitled to my opinion, and I just think they are left-wing cranks and they are the reason that there are directions on a shampoo bottle ," Kennedy said. "I think we should ignore them." [emphasis mine]
You can watch video of the exchange here:
Sen. Kennedy: The Squad is 'the reason that there are directions on shampoo bottles'
As Tucker Carlson noted, I believe it's hard to ignore these four congresswomen because of the influence they've managed to exert over their party, shift if further to the left, but Senator Kennedy's assessment of "The Squad's" intelligence was perfect. As far as I'm concerned, listening to AOC speak is like watching Clueless, except it's not funny because people actually voted for her, and three-quarters of Democrats would vote for her for president .
LOL, They will say he is RACIST!!
LOL!!
Ouch! And probably disposal gal needs verbal communications as well despite her degree from BU. Or was UB Anyway.......
“...”I think we should ignore them.” ...”
While his comment is hilarious... I disagree with ignoring them.
You don’t ignore cancer.
If you ignore cancer long enough, it metastasizes into death.
Trump called them out on their commie crap. And it’s paying dividends.
He’s absolutely right.
And, as earlier noted, PDJT never called anyone by name. And there are how many wymun in the house? Could have been any 4 of them. But the lames KNOW it was directed at the 4 who appear to be offended.
Yes, but hes wrong about the ignoring them part.
They cant become the face of the Democrat Party by ignoring them, you must build them up and make them The Thing for that to happen.
I agree with you.
Pelosi and many Dems would love it if these idiot socialists were ignored.
LOL. The question of the day.
Dang He’s funny- love when he comes on fox news- said the other day “The short answer is no- the long answer is ‘hell no” and “It’s deader than fried chicken” when talking about a bill sponsored by the left
Only white people use or can even buy shampoo, isn’t that right? So Kennedy is a stinkin’ racist, right? Huh?
Is being from Puerto Rico synonymous with being a ‘person of color’? AOC looks very white to me.
How about being a child of Palestinians - are you then a ‘person of color’? You may be semitic, but you are not a ‘person of color’.
The term “a woman of color” is today’s way of being a victim, and you can shut down any criticism. In other words, you can say and do anything and should never be confronted as you are ‘a person of color’.
lols......

A real Son of the South! Finally a Kennedy I can like.
ROFL!
Good one liner but this is one of the people who want to find a way to meet the Democrats half way on destroying the country.
He thinks they are a distraction from “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.”
Not the kind we want.
I heard him say that last night. I thought it was a good line. It goes over the head of its targets.
