A sudden outburst of mob justice Thursday night in Philadelphia ended with a carjacker dead and a 25-year-old man being questioned by police Friday after the thief's attempt to snatch a running vehicle -- with the man's children inside -- reportedly went awry.

Things that dont work get replaced by things that do.
Yep. And when something cant go on any longer it wont.
Simple as that.

“with the man’s children inside”
100% justifiable.
Actually.. the engine is today’s horse.
The motorcycle would be a horse with a saddle while a car would be a horse with a cart.
Steal the engine, you steal a horse.
Actually, I'd say it went perfectly.
Other story said:Police say the three children are 5-year-old, a year-and-a-half, and a 7-month-old baby.
Even if conscientious and not standing down, our current police forces are not responsible for the safety of the citizens, as courts have ruled.
In the 1950s or so some criminals were deterred by seeing swift justice by law enforcement and courts, and often physical sessions with police at the station before they confessed. And jails and prisons didn’t have mindfulness classes and internet time after pumping iron. They were unpleasant places.
Cops have to inquire about the guy’s lawyer to see if he or she agrees he heard the correct Miranda wording, and make sure he isn’t a sanctuary illegal (sorry,no questions allowed) or a protected minority,as when so many tickets are given out and cars looked into with stolen property, drugs and guns on the back seat early in any month that only whites can be arrested after that quota day-—or an obvious pattern of unfair arrests to the minority is present in the force. Ferguson was investigated for that by the DOJ.
When I have complained on FR about our system of justice, some replied “you should see the other countries.” They’re right. But we’re catching up.
And every time a sneering violent criminal laughs at the family of the dead victim as he leaves court freed on a technicality or an OJ style miscarriage of justice, our country sinks lower.
One last year in Detroit was so sad, with the obviously guilty teens literally laughing at and taunting the victim’s loved ones. A mistake in handling evidence threw out a vital part of the case. Can’t be tried again under double jeopardy and will be free and happy now. Often these cases have several crimes involved and prosecutor chooses only one, concedes on the other crimes and sinks or swims.
Shrugging off the Hillary type crimes has a bad effect on respect for law and justice, also. The Two tiered system as Rush calls it.
Normal people want things to work. And they love improvements that make things better.
The government, on the other hand, embraces inefficiency, dysfunction and waste. Their jobs depend in many cases on this morass so they have no incentive to fix things or make them better. Systemic improvements are a threat to their job security after all.
Trump wants to make things better in America. That why the bureaucrats and politicians hate him so much.
Dallas is becoming just as bad.
We haven’t had a “Justice System” in 50+ years.
We have a badly-broken “Legal System”.
"The Bristol Stomp" - The Dovells (The Bristol referenced in this song is a suburb of Philly.) |
We havent had a Justice System in 50+ years.

But we do have a Just Us system.
That we do; right you are.
If the car was stolen after the driver went inside, it’s not a carjacking. It was a vehicle theft and a kidnapping. A carjacking is when the driver is forcibly removed from their vehicle and the vehicle is then taken by the perpetrator.
Where was/were Daddy/Daddies?
To-MAY-toe, To-MAH-toe...
Mom needs a search warrant. Or a genealogy service.
Also, never, ever get out of a car with children inside even “for just a minute”.
Mothers I’ve known all said that they hate to undo the child seat straps to go into the gas station store but they saw TV news about “just a minute” ending in a carjacking. One said that was a big reason for drive thru pharmacy pickup windows. Lots of mothers use them.
Normal people want things to work. And they love improvements that make things better.
The fact that this even needs to be stated is highly indicative of just how screwed up things are now. These days us normals, as Colonel Schlichter calls us, are not just openly mocked we are scorned and called horrible names for expecting the government that WE ******* PAY FOR to actually act in the interests of the people writing the checks.
They dont even bother concealing the contempt they have for us anymore. We are smelly. We are deplorable. We are racist xenophobic monsters who dont even deserve a voice in the system.
Dont want your 15 year old daughter sharing a high school gym locker that YOU ******* pay for with a male student? Youre the problem, not them.
Dont want mentally ill drug addicts ******** all over the streets and parks that YOU ******* pay for? Youre the problem, not them.
Dont think its a good idea to allow millions of people to stroll across our borders illegally and demand goods, services, medical care, and jobs while completely bypassing the lawfully enacted procedures? Youre the ******* problem. Not them.
Want to post your concerns on some internet site to call attention to the problems? Youre the one who gets shut down, publicly identified, your employment threatened, and maybe even your life.
Well my friend its time to realize that these people hate us. Theres no other explanation that makes any sense at all. They claim to care. They claim to be compassionate. But theyre literally forcing us to accept the slow motion destruction of our society right in front of our very eyes.
And theyre daring us to do something about it.
Its high time we stepped up to take them up on it.

OK, read another thread bout it; Daddy was the primary beater-to-death of the criminal. Good for him- being there for his kids! Momma- not so much.
Fixin’ to fix tagline...
Daddy was the primary beater-to-death of the criminal.

He was the the daddy of two of the three kids.
