Mom needs a search warrant. Or a genealogy service.
Also, never, ever get out of a car with children inside even “for just a minute”.
Mothers I’ve known all said that they hate to undo the child seat straps to go into the gas station store but they saw TV news about “just a minute” ending in a carjacking. One said that was a big reason for drive thru pharmacy pickup windows. Lots of mothers use them.

OK, read another thread bout it; Daddy was the primary beater-to-death of the criminal. Good for him- being there for his kids! Momma- not so much.
