Tropical storm Barry has finally earned its name. The storm is drifting W in the central Gulf of Mexico. The tropical system is somewhat unusual because the low pressure system was originally over Georgia before drifting into the GOM.
The New Orleans area has been inundated with heavy rain with flooding over the past several days, unrelated to the current tropical storm.

Just a light breeze and a few hours of light rain here in east AL. It canceled anything else I wanted to do, but it watered the veggies quite nicely.
Appreciate your local update. Veggies surely need a good soaking rain this time of year.
Any word on who or how Epstein's island safe will be accessed? Weird if he's been extorting rich and powerful for years and nobody managed to knock him off. Figuring we'll know the sordid details one of these days.
I am grateful to God that this storm has been a non-event.
Normally, I would hear the 'howling' of the wind, but this has not happened. Not much rain or wind where I am at (so far).
The coastal parishes of Louisiana have had some serious problems with flooding and levees being overtopped.
Well, in my old and decrepit way, NaughtyNurse!
Good to hear FRom you!
This generation’s Capt’n Tony Tessisino
Tarracino
damn auto correct
I would say defintely he is working with some sort of Jewish/Israeli cabal and is almost certainly in with Mossad. If that's the case which I bet it is, as an American citizen how can he avoid the CIA? He has to be an asset with them We have already tracked the plane he flew as being registered with Dyncorp,a know smuggling op,the state dept. and the CIA! So, that's what I have for now.
Nahhh... Tony was never that nasty and he was a far bigger drinker that Epstien. His bar is still there around the corner from Duval street.
....................
Next month my kids will close down half of Duval street for a day for their annual Lobster Fest that they hold in key west.Usually draws around 30k people from the mainland and here, pretty big event.SHe has 120 vendors this year could have been even bigger.
Up and at em early my FRiend
Great stuff on Epstein. Wont see or hear a peep from the MSM on the info you share.
See you on Sunday thread later
THanks very much bud.”Catch” you later on the TV talk show thread which starts between 7 and 8 am Eastern thanks to Alas Babylon for a zillion years now.
Thus far, I have seen two reports of "overtopping". Both were non-COE levees and the cause of the overtopping was failure to maintain the levees on the part of the governing authorities. The authorities knew the levees were not adequate, yet they failed to fix them.
Here working for two weeks. The food is good, but it’s too darn hot and humid.
Thanks. Hope you enjoy your stay. For sure it’s hot and humid.
As with all locations what is good for the locals may not be so for
those from other locals. You are right along the break line between
redneck and cajun country.
Wow! Swordfish is my absolute fav. Was it caught down here in warm water? Great to hear another super catch story with one of your rods!
Redneck and Cajun country. My kind of place.
Hope you can post pictures of the even afterwards!
:)
