Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued her war of words with Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday night, calling the Speaker of the House “outright disrespectful” for criticizing women of color.
The Bronx Democrat was reacting to Pelosi’s repeated attempts at reigning in some of the more left-wing members of her caucus and chastising the freshman reps for tweeting too much.
“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood,” Ocasio-Cortez told the Washington Post.
“But the persistent singling out — it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful — the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.”

You don’t know the Left very well if you think Crowley stands a chance at defeating her. They CRAVE power, and that’s what they see in her. They don’t see a nutcase, they see an activist taking on the top of an old, decrepit, power structure. Those are the people in her district.
In fact, that’s exactly why the Left was so sure Trump couldn’t win. They viewed him as a nutcase too...and had no clue as to how strongly he was connecting with the forgotten working class - even though he obviously did nothing to hide his rallies. But they still couldn’t get it, and still haven’t for that matter.
I do too. I go over there a couple of times a day just for grins and giggles. They are incredibly stupid. All they post are headlines from the lying fake MSM and headlines they have to twist to favor their party. Bunch of fascist commies. Everywhere I go online on social media I give out the URL to DU to moderates that might be on the fence and tell people that if they want to see how vile and insane Democrats have become, click this link. People are horrified after they have been there. Reading the insane posts on DU steers them to the right.
They are people of color when scholarships and benefits are on the line but they are white people when you talk about crime statistics... see how that works?
The only difference between AOC and Pelosi is that Pelosi hides her desires.
Nancy wasn’t criticizing the 4x women of color (”The Squad” - Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN)), she had a private meeting with them telling them to stop criticizing fellow democrats in public forums. (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) They’re not being team players, they’re pushing personal agenda over party agenda, they’re looking to primary fellow democrats who are moderates, they’re making the Democratic Party look weak and fragmented, disorganized.
As Sr party leadership, Nancy did exactly what she had to do, shepherd the stray lambs back into the herd. Sometimes you do that with a stick. The stick can get bigger.
These young freshman Reps have been a windfall to the Republicans. They are fragmenting the Democrats.

She’s been in office 6 months. How the heck has she garnered dozens of headlines every day since? Someone is pushing this. The fact that Nancy didn’t shut her up immediately is telling.
