President Trump on Monday said he would no longer deal with the U.K.s ambassador to the U.S. after leaked cables revealed the diplomats blunt assessment of the Trump administration.
In a pair of tweets, Trump bristled at Ambassador Kim Darrochs description of him as inept and suggested a new British government could make changes.
I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well thought of within the U.S. We will no longer deal with him. The good news for the wonderful United Kingdom is that they will soon have a new Prime Minister, Trump wrote.
The British embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Even as Trump showed his anger with being criticized by a foreign official, he went after outgoing British Prime Minister Theresa May, whose office expressed full faith in Darroch, over her handling of Brexit.
What a mess she and her representatives have created. I told her how it should be done, but she decided to go another way, Trump wrote, adding that while I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent State Visit last month, it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!
The dust-up was highly unusual for two close allies, but it showed how the leadership turmoil in the U.K. is having an effect on the transatlantic alliance.
Words have consequences
Then, the twits apologized for the leak but not the comment.
What the?..
Nigel Farage has called for him to be recalled and fired.
He said DJT was inept, Nigel says he was inept putting his
views online instead of in a diplomatic pouch.
LOL
Now who’s inept? and who is about to lose their job over their ineptness? The ambassador is right the new British Government can make changes... such as who is the ambassador.

(Sounds like a great opportunity for Trump to stick it to the elite UK establishment.)
I can confidently say MOST of the current UK regime are from the obamatard era so a LOT of them think the same way..wishing it were Hitlery they were dealing with.
To whom do these apply?
He can continue to learn about America from Rachel Maddow and Trevor Noah, like all his leftist compatriots. No room at the White House for you Sir Stunningly Brave.
How long before a new PM is in place? Then, poof.
Some of these nose-in-the-air Brits will never change. They spew this elitist crap 24/7 while London burns!! Go home you pompous azzhole!!!
Just find the ambassador to be persona non-grata and expel him from the country.
President Trump might send Miss May this message:
You have 1 hour to get Tommy Robinson safely to our embassy or you will have our 3rd war between our side including a trade war of your worse dreams.
Then, our Ambassador will escort Mr Robinson to Heath-row for a safe trip to the USA.
Next, you and I will be discussing in public, how your intel thugs worked with Obama/Clinton, Clapper, Brennan and our FBI/DOJ/CIA in an coup attempt to remove me an elected US President from office.
Trump is a counter puncher. He knows corrupt people will ultimately show their true colors so he was all nice and friendly with Theresa May (as he’s been with Macron and others) but he doesn’t trust them.. If Trump had been critical of May from the outset he would have gotten a lot of flack. Instead, he gives people like May, Macron, etc. enough rope to hang themselves. The thing is, Trump is still in office and Theresa May is on her way out. Funny how that works.
How much did he deal with him before? Ambassadors work through the State Department.
Can’t blame him. I would refuse to deal with the man also were I in Trump’s place. Obviously, is fatally compromised and can no longer do his job. Its up to the UK if they want to keep a guy in the role who has no influence and cannot even begin to accomplish the business the UK needs from its ambassadors.
Would be a win/win.
The US should have declared the jerk persona non grata and sent him on his way.
