Most members of the “exhausted majority,” and then some, dislike political correctness. Among the general population, a full 80 percent believe that “political correctness is a problem in our country.” Even young people are uncomfortable with it, including 74 percent ages 24 to 29, and 79 percent under age 24. On this particular issue, the woke are in a clear minority across all ages.

In spite of The Atlantic's overall liberal bias, the author concedes an important fact: that the "woke" OccupyWallstreet, Antifa etc. types are the fringe of fringes. His breakdown of 25% committed conservatives vs. about 8% "wokers" is probably correct. I know plenty of people who usually vote for Democrats who still find PC censorship absurd and Antifa activists repellent.

The fact is, the vast majority of Americans are not political junkies or particularly ideological. That's why incumbents of either party tend to win re-election unless the economy tanks, and then many people who voted Democrat wind up staying home or voting Republican (or vice-versa), just to get a new face in office. And even those voters who are "political" tend to be so only about one or two issues whereas everything else is negotiable. I think that the real reason we no longer get landslide elections like Reagan vs. Mondale isn't because the population at large is that much more polarized, but because the non-polarized majority can't decide who to vote for or against.

What does this mean for the 2020 election? It means that if the economy is doing well, Trump will probably be re-elected by a comfortable though not huge electoral vote margin, especially if he runs against a shrieking extremist calling for slavery reparations or "abolish ICE".

If you don’t discuss politics at all—and just listen to what those around you are saying—you will find that almost no-one else pays any attention to it.

That is easy to forget—most people are busy just living their lives and just don’t care about public policy stuff unless it is in their face and affects them personally and directly.

We haven’t had even 65% eligible voter turnout for 100+ years, the number of folks who choose not to vote outnumber the turn out for either political party in presidential elections and outnumber both parties combined for congressional, state and local. The dumbest people who somehow manage to vote supposedly decide all elections based on who can sway them that cycle if what they say about the 10% of eligible voters that are swing voters is true.

PC started out benign. Don’t call people fat, retarded or crippled.

Then it became thought shackles on all of life and culture. It must be dismantled, first by mockery and then by confrontation.

When you combine this article with the MSN article about Trump’s excellent position for re-election, this indicates the Hoax News Media is getting very worried that any of their candidates will be crushed, but the far lefties more so than Biteme.

https://www.amren.com/news/2014/09/ten-percent-is-not-enough/

... For almost 150 years the United States has been conducting an experiment. The subjects of the experiment: black people and working-class whites. The hypothesis to be tested: Can a people taken from the jungles of Africa and forced into slavery be fully integrated as citizens in a majority white population?

... The experiment has failed. Not because of culture, or white privilege, or racism. The fundamental problem is that white people and black people are different. They differ intellectually and temperamentally. These differences result in permanent social incompatibility.

... Our rulers don’t seem to understand just how tired their white subjects are with this experiment. They don’t understand that white people aren’t out to get black people; they are just exhausted with them. They are exhausted by the social pathologies, the violence, the endless complaints, the blind racial solidarity, the bottomless pit of grievances, the excuses, the reflexive animosity. The elites explain everything with “racism,” and refuse to believe that white frustration could soon reach the boiling point.

The Worst Enemy of Black People
By Walter E.Williams
January 2, 2019

Malcolm X said: “The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasn’t taken, tricked or deceived by the white liberal, then Negros would get together and solve our own problems. I only cite these things to show you that in America, the history of the white liberal has been nothing but a series of trickery designed to make Negros think that the white liberal was going to solve our problems. Our problems will never be solved by the white man.”

“Team Resentment is manned—pun very much intended—by people who are predominantly old and almost exclusively white.”

Blatant bias. The “Woke” gang burns with Resentment of what the old white men have achieved; they attribute their own failures to “unfairness” wherein the old white men rigged the system to reward ability and effort. The notion that “Progressives” are high income, highly “educated” (I guess the author conflates “educated” with university attendance), etc., conflicts with most examples I have ever seen. Occupy and Antifa are lowlife trash, not wealthy educated people.

These are pretexts for leftard leaders to steal and leftard masses to beg. Anyway to gain the unearned, undeserved, and something for nothing is the leftard con job.

The term "politically correct" is a Marxist-Leninist term, and, as such, whether it is used in the affirmative or the negative it concedes AUTHORITY to the originator.

This is why "conservatism" is losing this fight despite having many more votes. As any Marxist-Leninist knows, it does not matter who votes, it matters who counts the votes.

When someone attacks you for being politically incorrect, they are asserting the right to rule you based on a class analysis. Modern M-L-ism having expanded the class system, there will be multiple claimants to rule over you based on penis status, skin pigment, preferred orifice, and many things besides workers and bosses, but the principle remains the same.

And this is the point: When someone asserts the right to rule over you and backs it up with masks, clubs, and chemical warfare, YOU ARE NO LONGER ENGAGED IN A POLITICAL ARGUMENT.

The rules in this situation have not changed. Their right to rule over you, unless successfully disputed in kind, will prevail.

When the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) was using street fighters to come to power in 1925-1933, it did not matter how many German voters disagreed with them. The communist street fighters were never popular.

But they had to be outfought in the streets, and eventually isolated from society, which the Weimar government never was able to do.

Calling Antifa "brownshirts" is therefore particularly ironic. Brownshirts are the only thing most people know about German politics in the period 1925-1933, and that, I presume, is because the descendants of the Red Fighting Front are the ones doing the teaching.

The Red Fighting Front ended at Dachau and Buchenwald. Pray it does not come to that. But do not be deceived that Antifa together with their political wing the Uniparty are competing for votes - they mean to limit opinions and programs to their options only, and judging by their success in limiting President Trump to words as opposed to action, they are winning.

If the findings discussed in this article are even remotely accurate, President Trump wins re-election in a landslide.

Why? Because the “woke” have taken over the Democrat primary process and will settle for nothing less than a full-blown socialist candidate.

Then, as CNN has already learned, they too will learn that the audience (and votes) for their “woke” message started small and is becoming even smaller as more and more people wake up to its implications.

Political correctness is a form of identity theft. When you silence someone from expressing themselves you murder their spirit and turn them zombies, which is what the control the left craves. They control because they fear. There is no faith or trust in them.
