The first monument in the world dedicated to first lady Melania Trump was unveiled in the former model

Bottom line, folks, this loser Brad Downey commissioned some local in Slovenia to carve this ugly wood statue in order to mock Melania's humble beginnings and make fun of her success, hahahahaha, resulting in an amateurish 12-min. "film" on the making of "the statue of Melania" - the statue & 'documentary' being added proof that the Left can't meme and are as funny as a 1st grader putting bread sticks in his nose.
Why Time magazine chose to post a full length article on this untalented loser's "work" is a head-scratcher -- except for the obvious (Orange Man's Wife Bad) and that Brad is probably a "friend" of some other loser at Time's Berlin bureau. No wonder the MSM is dying with thought-provoking pieces like this. It's not like there's an on-going cover-up (using public money and personnel) for having spied on a Presidential candidate happening right now in front of our eyes....
On the bright side -- Time wrote something about her! ;)
There is a Bill Clinton statue in Prishtina, Kosovo.
They erected it (no pun intended) to honor the war criminal for slaughtering the Serbs and stealing Kosovo to give it to Albanian muslims.
That ugly statue needs to meet with an “unfortunate” ending.
Thank you for posting the inauguration pic. I was having a rough morning and this really helps.
Our Melanias look could not have been more perfect for a First Lady. She was breathtaking. That shade of blue was just so beautiful and she showed proper respect for the office her husband was about to take.
Its no surprise that she has been such a lovely First Lady for us and used her well honed sense of style in so many constructive, If often subtle, ways.
I could gush on for hours about my adoration for Melania.
Has anyone else noticed that the President looks more handsome when he stands next to his wife?
She just radiates her own special Melania grace.
I agree. Truly repugnant and deeply offensive.
The citizens of Slovenia really do love our Melania. It will be interesting to observe their reactions.
That thing will either make her laugh or cry. I’m betting Melania has a good laugh.
This is pitiful
+1
chainsaw art by a local
in a field.
Nice tribute
Not a big deal
It’s abstract art and is faceless, as an inspiration to all Women of Slovenia, or the World.
True.
I know just the solution! In the Philippines, former president Ferdinand Marcos had his face carved into a mountain, Mt. Rushmore fashion; it was finished in 1985, a few months before he was thrown out in the “People Power” revolution. The bust stood intact until 2002, when it was severely damaged in an explosion that took out the eyes, forehead and cheeks. Whoever blew it up is unknown; the vandal(s) could have been anti-Marcos activists, members of a local tribe, or looters following a rumor that Marcos hid treasure in it.

I think they should see her in person.....obviously this artists concept of her is due to lack of mental ability or drunk on their butt......:)
When ever I see her It is just a breath of fresh air from the wookie
Some of the movements and ideas in modern art have had a certain interest and legitimacy.
Unfortunately, they have also given ‘legitimacy’, in the minds of the mindless, to many egotists who possess very little talent but lots of childish self-importance.
As a result, we get a lot of dreck that is termed ‘art’.
They did this with a chainsaw, right.
You are sooooo right. Hub and I marvel at what some consider art and pay a King’s ransom for and us “peons” consider trash. I guess we’re just not good enough to be in the club of those who know art at it’s finest...../s...idiot snobs is what they are....
I guess “Art’ is in the eye of the beholder. But a lot of idiotic stuff passes as art today, and a lot of idiots consider themselves connoisseurs.
I’ve had conversations with people on FR whom I consider extremely intelligent and discerning - but we still disagreed on certain matters of taste or on the form in which something should be represented.
But I don’t think many of the Picasso lovers on FR would disagree with me with regard to the particular work of ‘art’ in the OP
(Getting out of this thread, before one of my beloved FRiends posts ‘Guernica’ - which is still great ART compared with the aforementioned...dreck :-)
I like the way you think:)
If that was supposed to be a likeness of Michelle, it would all make sense.
