~ Independence Day, July 4, 1776 ~
Preamble to the Declaration of Independence
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Happy 4th of July, LUV! Yep, fireworks all strategized and now just hoping it doesn't rain.
Went over to Tullahoma tonight to watch their fireworks show and it was a good one. Worth the hassle of trying to get home afterwards. LOL! I think half of our county was over there, as well, and traffic was a bear.

Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...and Happy Birthday, America!! Any celebrations for you?
ALL fireworks of any kind are banned because of the fire danger. We had a brush fire right in the middle of town yesterday that caused evacuations....not completely out, but mostly contained. My way home was shut down.
No buildings, and those evacuated were allowed home in a couple hours, but multiple trailheads are still shut down as they get it all put out. Helicopters from the National Guard were using Bambi buckets for water drops, and several fire retardant drops were made.
The traffic you see is the street I go and come from work. I live just north and the fire is south.

I’m just glad one of Hubby’s buddies told us they were doing it tonight. I thought they’d do it tomorrow night and would have missed it.
Rain chances will be a little higher tomorrow but chances are supposed to drop once the sun sets. Just have to wait and see what happens.

I did a bit when it started sprinkling, but it’s a HARD rain and it’s 66 degrees out there. So....I’ll just enjoy it from inside. Probably lots of cool lightning but I can’t see it for all the big trees in our yards.

Thank you so much for posting this from Rush Limbaugh’s Dad...AOC and the rest of the idiots have no clue that they can spout off, lie, and tear down America because of these brave men. They knew going in how bad things could, and did, get, but they persevered to give us this great country.
Now, if we can just hold on to it against all the evil trying to destroy it.

No they weren’t. They have disappeared into their hidey-holes. When the rain passes, I’ll take the leftover food back out to them and that’ll help them cheer up.
