ALL fireworks of any kind are banned because of the fire danger. We had a brush fire right in the middle of town yesterday that caused evacuations....not completely out, but mostly contained. My way home was shut down.
No buildings, and those evacuated were allowed home in a couple hours, but multiple trailheads are still shut down as they get it all put out. Helicopters from the National Guard were using Bambi buckets for water drops, and several fire retardant drops were made.
The traffic you see is the street I go and come from work. I live just north and the fire is south.

Fireworks are and have always been illegal in the PRM (Peoples Republic of MA).
But...I still hear them at night which means people are breaking the law all around me. LOL
Going to a family BBQ and jamming with my favorite student. :-)
