There are few remaining survivors of concentration camps. Ed Mosberg is one of them.
And the 93-year-old from Morris Plains, NJ, has no time for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s statements last week, when she called the southern border’s migrant detention centers “concentration camps.”
“She should be removed from Congress. She’s spreading anti-Semitism, hatred and stupidity,” Mosberg told The Post. “The people on the border aren’t forced to be there — they go there on their own will. If someone doesn’t know the difference, either they’re playing stupid or they just don’t care.”
On June 18, the Bronx/Queens politician posted a video on Instagram in which she said: “The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border, and that is exactly what they are — they are concentration camps.”
Mosberg, who lost his entire family during the Holocaust and himself survived both the Plaszów and Mauthausen camps, said: “Her statement is evil. It hurts a lot of people. At the concentration camp, we were not free. We were forced there by the Germans who executed and murdered people — there’s no way you can compare.”
On June 21, the Holocaust-education group From the Depths, of which Mosberg is the president, extended an invitation to AOC via Facebook, encouraging her to tour “German Nazi concentration camps” with Mosberg. He said he hoped to take her to the museum and memorial site at Auschwitz, where his mother was murdered.

“She should be taught a lesson,” he said. “If you’re not there, you will never know what happened. She doesn’t want to learn — she’s looking for excuses. I would like to nominate her for the Nobel Prize in stupidity.”

But when other members of Congress encouraged the freshman representative to take Mosberg up on the offer, AOC publicly declined. She tweeted to Iowa Rep. Steve King: “The last time you went on this trip it was reported that you also met w/ fringe Austrian neo-Nazi groups to talk shop. So I’m going to have to decline your invite. But thank you for revealing to all how transparently the far-right manipulates these moments for political gain.”
Yes, it's an excuse, but King's a jerk for meeting with a political party founded by an SS officer on a trip sponsored by a Holocaust remembrance group. If he wants to meet with them he should do it on his own dime and not associate the group funding his trip with others.

The thing so disturbing about AOC is she revels in her stupidity. There is no shaming her.

For her to compare them to Nazi death camps is obscene, or a normal member of the Communist Party.
She is both stupid and doesn’t care. I think she misses her bartending days and is drinking her liquor stash daily. A drunken fool.
She should be removed from Congress. But we have to do it the old-fashioned way: electorally.
So, is she going to have a primary opponent? If not, why not? If yes, where do we send checks or click to pay?

Thank you for posting the pic of holocaust victims, absolutely not the same as the illegal alien jerks today. I hate the Germans for what they did, and I’m half-German ancestry. Horrible to see the deprivation forced on starving Jews. The Latino illegals are invading rats at our pantry receiving coddled care from us and we’re nicely asking them to leave, but they keep coming back to feast.
Cortez needs to give up those magic mushrooms she’s not getting any better,a shrink could give her better help.

I’m partly German. A great uncle, Oscar Strobel, fought in WWII. Bronze Star and two purple hearts. Despised the Nazis, considered them an anomination of his race.
IF AOC thinks the camps in WWII or Killing Fields or Gulags in Siberia are simle issue of supply and demand she is sadly mistaken. Furthermore, the border crisis and illegal immigrant problem isn't fueled by American evil intent nor are the conditions part of some sinister plan cooked by the Obama Admin and being executed by the Trump Admin...nobody is being forced into labor, and nobody is being slaughtered. As I said, there is no f&@£#ng comparison with The Final Solution.
As for your ancestry, unless you were a willing SS agent etc I don't blame you (nor anyone of German descent) for the camps just like I don't blame slaveowner descendants for slavery.
