An Oregon photojournalist who covers Portland’s frequently violent protest scene was taken to the hospital Saturday after being attacked by black-masked antifa activists.
Andy Ngo, an editor at the online platform Quillette, said he was struck on the head and face “multiple times” by antifa protesters, who also threw objects and a milkshake at him as he tried to walk away.
The attack, recorded in part by the Oregonian and posted on Twitter, came during Saturday’s Rose City Antifa counter-protest against a rally held by the far-right group Proud Boys in downtown Portland...

The “milk shake” actually contained quick-drying cement; so Mr. Ngo was hit with the equivalent of a very large rock.
Bill Barr has a lot on his plate these days, but he needs to convene a DOJ task force and go after Antifa with all available resources. The radicals are growing increasingly emboldened and if law enforcement and the justice system don’t stop them now, their activities a year from now will make today’s assault seem tame by comparison.
If I’m not mistaken, Andy Ngo is openly gay. So, couldn’t today’s attack be construed as a hate crime? Perfect pretext for the feds to get involved.
More than a decade ago, the radical environmentalist group Earth First carried out attacks across the west. The feds were largely ineffective in stopping the group; part of the problem was a degree of indifference, the rest was the group’s ability to mask its activity, and make it difficult for law enforcement to penetrate. There is a similar pattern emerging with Antifa, and they are far more dangerous than the eco terrorists.
These trashbags are dangerous. Next time they might use acid or worse. Bleach can blind you. They need to be well ventilated.
Just search for “protesters getting their just desserts” and or ‘antifa getting their just desserts.’ There are wonderful videos of just that, good people fighting against the Creepozoids.
Quit calling the Portland Gestapo police. They are Vichy.
It's quick drying cement because it's CAUSTIC, not because of mass. Antifa WANTS TO HURT, blind, injure, and the Vichy traitors with badges are good with that. Antifa use ASP batons, blinding LED flashlights, contaminated feces and urine, oak banisters as flag and sign poles, bear spray, those PVC pipes are filled with solid plaster.
There are Portland Vichy on roof tops to make sure no one snipes Antifa. Perhaps it's time to re-consider the PPD and their Chief Outlaw as law keepers...
If you think Antifa street thugs vote Democrat, or vote at all, or advocate others to stand patiently in line waiting to vote, you are seriously delusional.
They aren’t about voting, or the democratic process, or majority rule. They’re about bloodshed, violent overthrow and establishment of a totalitarian state with themselves in charge.

Antifa’s street tactics are INFLUENCING a lot of high school & college kids, as well as minority youth.
It’s THESE young potential voters—influenced by Antifa, but not Antifa itself— who the Democrats want to appease.
It’s THIS young, temporarily radicalized voting demographic that right now is splitting & pulling a portion of the Democrat Party farther left, while creating a quandary for Democrat Party *leadership* which needs not to alienate its white working class centrists.
Thus Democrats are on record praising Antifa, or at least refusing to condemn them.
Remember, a lot of the radicalized lefties who riot in their college days tend to adopt more moderate political views once they start having kids & paying taxes. The Democrats need to appease these temporary radicals (IOW liberals, whom you are confusing with hardcore anarcho-communists) who may become future voters / taxpayers.
But for now, because Antifa’s tactics are perceived as being *mostly* destructive to the “straight white patriarchy” trope that is continually pinned on Republicans,the Democrat leadership sees Antifa as being their useful idiots, doing their dirty work in leading the attack against Republican conservatives.
But to hardcore Antifa, the Democrat Party is too conservative.
Antifa sneers at the Democrat Party.
They don’t vote for them or support them in any way. They simply regard Democrats (liberals) as THEIR useful idiots, and are more than happy to accept their help (such as telling the police to stand down, and judges to drop charges.)
But Antifa MEMBERS are NOT lining up to vote for Democrats. They have no interest in helping Democrats hold onto power.
They see Democrats & Republicans as essentially the two legs holding up the same CAPITALIST system they hate.
They want to undermine & collapse the whole shebang.
If we insist on seeing our opposition as a powerful monolithic army, marching in unison, while failing to understand their divisions, splits, and ideological contradictions, we cannot hope to exploit their divisions for our own benefit.
Antifa believe they have a mandate from “The Masses” (whatever the hell that is), and that elections are a “bourgeois” thing.
“The Masses” = collections of adult-sized cellular matter that can be “mobilized” and programmed to shout rhyming couplets of a propagandistic nature, called “slogans,” whenever necessary.
When not needed, The Masses are expected to return to their assigned places & do as they’re told.

Excluding the charge of being “seriously delusional,” I appreciate your detailed rebuttal.
There is certainly the anarchist component of Antifa, but the bulk of the participants are born-and-bread voting Democrats.
It wasn’t that long ago when the MSM totally supported the Antifa movement, but eventually the undisciplined psychopaths engaged in destruction — Disney and Comcast decided it was best to pull back as things got too hot.
FWIW, I make the distinction between liberals and Liberals, libertarians and Libertarians. But ultimately, it’s the Democrat Thug Party that’s working hard to drive the Country to Hell. And I won’t distinguish the Democrat thugs in charge from the idiots that continue to vote for them.
My regrets if you’re holding out for Democrat friends and family, but ultimately, they’re facilitating the destruction we’re fighting against.
