A new Harris Poll commissioned by the pro-LGBT media group GLAAD shows that the percentage of non-gay Americans aged 18-34, who are considered allies of the LGBT community, fell from 63% in 2016 to 45% in 2018.
In addition, the percentage of non-gay Americans aged 18-34 who felt uncomfortable in personal situations involving LGBTQ persons increased. For instance, the percentage of normal Americans who felt uncomfortable in learning a family member is LGBTQ rose from 24% to 36%.
Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD, said of the surveys findings, The decline in acceptance [of LGBTs] and rise in discrimination found in the survey corresponded to an increase in hateful rhetoric in our culture.

I see this as encouraging. The lies of the mentally depraved are not as accepted as previously thought.
They can guess all they want but in my opinion, talking to youths, there’s two bitg issues that are driving this.
1. The pushing of the Cotton Barrier. The idea that it is discriminatory to not date a transgender.
2. That males should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.
They’re fine with it as far as personal sexual choice and personal mannerisms. They just don’t like being hit over the head with it.
The Left are their own worst enemies.
The pendulum swung their way.
They pushed, made themselves obvious *sses (aided greatly by showing everyone their *sses).
The pendulum will swing back.
And they will not like it one bit.
I think we are just beginning to understand why our ancestors just made them dance the Tyburn Jig.
Just wait until the kids at the library being read to by Divine-lookalikes grow up and are polled!
UMC pastor at our church not respecting the recent vote and keep lecturing congregation how the vote and affirmation language is derogatory. She does this week after week. Tired of this stuff getting shoved down ours and our kids throats. Glad people are waking up. Now if the UMC can rein in these indignant blasphemous pastors that would be great.
People are tired of having propoganda shoved in their face.
LGBT spend all their time hating on Christians, grooming teenagers, lobbying for extra advantages and basically just pushing people around. What’s not to like about that?
It’s called a “backlash”. Keep pushing stuff like “Drag Queen Story Hour” and kids twerking for cash and you’ll see a lot bigger backlash.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!
The more they are in the open, the more people encounter folks openly homosexual, the more they are uncomfortable. The dyke soccer player on the US them is an example of why no one wants to be around folks who express that prefrence
Yep... the alphabet’s pushed too hard too fast and know they’re just pissing everyone off.
Hell, Megan Rapinoe(US soccer team) is a perfect example.
I hope France wins!!
I agree, plus I think the youth are in a position where they can’t control their environment as much as adults. They have to mouth politically correct platitudes in class to get decent grades or not be bullied; they have to share locker rooms and restrooms with trans militants; they have to compete against trans to get college scholarships. I, as an adult, have a lot more freedom to decide how much interaction I want with others and the risks of simply avoiding confrontation is a lot less for me than school kids.
Also, schools, which would fit into the age-frame.
And, allowing males to compete against females in athletic competitions. Some, where scholarships are on the line.
Leftists always overreach.
Most Americans accept homosexuality.....but they don’t want it shoved down their throats.
Just realizing that they were getting used and that this group has taken away their freedom of speech....at the minimum.
A friend has a lesbian boss, earlier this month she went around handing out ‘pride pins’ to all the workers. He saw her coming and grabbed the phone and engaged in a long pretend conversation. Finally the boss got tired of waiting and put the pin where he indicated on the desk. It got filed forever after she walked away.
