(CNSNews.com) – New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday that he’s the only Democratic presidential candidate with a black son, and he’s had to talk to his son about how to protect himself and how to deal with the police.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow asked, “As an executive in the largest city in this country, you are used to saying what you want to have happen and having it happen. If you nominate a Supreme Court nominee as president of the United States and Mitch McConnell is still majority leader, what makes you believe that he will allow you to make a nominee?”

That’s what I was thinking. I told my children that, unless an officer was actually taking criminal liberties with them, they should always just do whatever the officer says. If they think it is wrong, they should say “I am not doing this voluntarily, I am doing this because you have ordered it, and I do not give permission”.

THat way, when I get the lawyer involved, we can fight it in a place where we have protection, not out on the street at night.

I don’t know why anybody who actually FEARED cops would do any less.

BTW, I am an old, white, male. I have been questioned by police while out in my car over 6 times in the past year. All because I now play that silly “Pokemon” game, which means I am out on the street parked by the curb at night, near government buildings, or driving slowly through neighborhoods. Never had a problem with them, and they are pretty well informed now about Pokemon Go, but I doubt there is a black person who has been pulled over more often.

I didn’t get pulled over when I didn’t drive in a manner that was suspicious.

I watched the video. It was a bad shoot. Why was the shooter carrying an AR15 when it was a close quarters pistol situation? And where was the other cop who ostensibly frisked and cuffed the woman? He could have gone up the corridor and cuffed the male while the shooter covered him. The shooter sounded like he was stuffed full of ‘roids.
