Hawaii congresswoman and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard had some laughs at the expense of the Clintons for their revived speaking tour and blasted former DNI director James Clapper during her Monday appearance on the podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience."
Host Joe Rogan pondered on "who is paying to listen to Hillary Clinton talk," which prompted Gabbard to ask "What are they getting out of it?"
Rogan then turned his attention to closed-door speeches Clinton has given previously, saying: "I would love to pretend to be a banker, put a lizard skin face mask on, go sit with those bankers and listen to one of those conversations that Hillary Clinton got paid a quarter of a million dollars for.".

The problem with Tulsi is she’d only right about 1/3 of the time.
I was up in Maine during the 2016 election, and I was having some drinks in a bar and saw a commercial on the television for a Congressman Jared Golden.
There was no sound on the television, and they do have some conservatives up in Maine, so I decided to watch the imagery on teh commercial and see if I could figure out if he was a good guy.
Young guy. USMC in Afghanistan and Iraq. Okay. Then they showed him with an AR-15 doing some target shooting and I thought “Hm. Okay, this guy must be okay.” No party affiliation anywhere in that ad that I could see but I thought no way that guy can be a lib and gave it no thought.
Then I find out a couple of weeks later he was a Democrat, beat out the Republican on the ballot due to a court challenge and “ranked voting” which they have up in Maine, and is a gun grabber, total Leftist.
Just wow. Having been in, I know they have libs in the military, so that isn’t a surprise, but it was the way the whole commercial was put together to present the stinking POS as exactly what he is not.
I see the same with Gabbard, and boy, does it piss me off.
I think your instincts on Gabbard are correct. That’s the sense I get as well. She holds up her military service, which I do not hold against her, but then speaks like Barbara Boxer back in the nineties about how all the military budget would be better spend on social programs, “the peace dividend” they called it then, after the fall of the USSR.
I am grateful to those who served, and they generally have my respect, but it really gets my goat when their philosophy is 90% antithetical to what a military person would generally support (or at least used to support) then I can’t give them the credit for destroying what they are walking all over the top of to justify and fool people into voting them in.
I guarantee there are a lot of people who see her picture in her uniform with all the fruit salad on her chest, and think she is A-OK.
And that is her goal. Not to have principles as a guiding star, but to give the impression of having them to get votes.
Don’t assume Marines are conservative. They’ve had more than their fair share of liberals — Robert Mueller is example #1.
I use it as a rule of thumb in concert with other things.
