Sen. Cory Booker argued during the Democrat presidential debate on Wednesday that Americans need to talk more about transgender people.
“We do not talk enough about trans-Americans, especially African American trans-Americans, and even incredibly high rates of murder right now,” he said.
He compared the transgender rights struggles to the civil rights of black Americans, recalling a time when they were lynched in America.
Booker also said that up to 30 percent of LGBT schoolchildren were afraid to go to school.
He then argued that Democrats needed to do more than just support the Equality Act proposed in Congress.
“We need to have a president that will fight to protect LGBTQ Americans every single day from violence,” he said.

Oh, like any of that happens today! Of course to those Marys, a side glance or roll of the eyes is considered a violent hate crime and probably racist. Frankly I’ve had it up to here with the party of deviance. I used to say live and let live, but it doesn’t work that way with alphabet people. They must be celebrated for at least a month every year and allowed to parade naked and erect through the streets and even into your wife’s or daughter’s bathroom. I say put them back in the closet. We’d all be better off.
Saw a documentary once about chimpanzees in Africa, by that lady who studied them, whatever her name was.
When the chimpanzees are ready to choose a new leader for their group, the males who are competing do crazy stuff like yell and scream and make lots of noises. They also climb trees and shake bushes and break off limbs and brandish them around.
All this is in order to make themselves look bigger and badder than the other male chimps, so they become the new leader alpha male.
