Saw a documentary once about chimpanzees in Africa, by that lady who studied them, whatever her name was.
When the chimpanzees are ready to choose a new leader for their group, the males who are competing do crazy stuff like yell and scream and make lots of noises. They also climb trees and shake bushes and break off limbs and brandish them around.
All this is in order to make themselves look bigger and badder than the other male chimps, so they become the new leader alpha male.
THAT’S WHAT WE SAW LAST NIGHT...........
I guess that means she's the lead dem in the race for "top male chimp".
Tell me again...this is really America?
You are describing the opening scene in Kubrick’s 2001.
Any difference between humans and apes is disappearing rapidly—think of it as devolution in action.
