Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) said her constituents want to see reparations for descendants of slaves in the form of "direct payment."
Tlaib hopes the House has a "serious conversation" about voting on H.R. 40, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act, after the reparations hearing that took place last week in the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties.

I’d like some “direct payment” too. I would be satisfied getting my money back that I paid in taxes over the years.
Slavery is a system where one person does all the work and the other guy gets all the money.
So now to make up for slavery, Congress wants to do “reparations” which will require one guy to do all the work while the other guy gets all the money.
That makes sense in 2019. :)

They want money. Money grabbers wherever they can get it from people who don’t owe them a thing! Victimhood... they look so cheap on TV nodding their heads on what is “owed to them” for living in the United States. And obama does not have a stash for them.. it comes from money working people make and have to give to the government.
Just ridiculous! it keeps their minds on ‘we are owed’ and it divides.. not a one of them were slaves.. and yet they hang on to it like a dog on a bone.
I personally don’t owe them a thing. The dems kept them down for so many years, for votes.. they still stand with the dems.. they deny the truth about which party did which. Welfare did them no favors. Children without a father and without dignity did them no favors. The schools the dems gave them did them no favors. Telling them to have more children for the welfare money did them no favors. the lies... and yet they still vote dem..
Yea, I know there are some who came out of that lifestyle.. and it pays.. but too many have not.
