President Donald Trump’s decision to delay a small-scale deportation operation has created an opening for Sen. Lindsey Graham’s push to swap an amnesty for border reforms, say pro-immigration reformers.
Graham already “is negotiating with [Democratic Sen. Richard] Durbin — [and] he’s not pulling the Republicans together” to present a united front, said Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies.
On June 19, for example, Graham told Democratic Senators at a committee meeting that he is willing to trade an amnesty to get a border fixes. “I am willing to deal with DACA [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals] … We will take a couple of weeks to see if we can find a compromise,” he said.

Just to make it clear, Disneyland isn’t the only Imagineering entity.
There is going to be some type of deal for DACA and maybe anchor babies. No one in Congress or in the administration has the guts to deport all illegals.
I don't like it, and probably 99.9% of the base don't like it either. I want mass deportations stat and a moratorium on all legal immigration. We've been screwed over before in 1986.
But Trump has already said plenty of times he wants to take care of the DACA recipients. He's even offered 1.8 million during the first gov't shutdown.
If the border is certified secured, English is the official language, no more anchor babies, moratorium on legal immigration, drug cartels are destroyed, and an immediate deportation of MS-13 and the Mexican Mafia types in prison/jails, then I would *grudgingly* allow the anchor babies and DACA permanent residency status only (No voting, must pay taxes, not eligible for welfare or gov't funded assistance).
Amnesty Grahamnesty got that nickname for a reason: He earned it.
Please - anyone who didn’t see this BS coming the moment Trump “delayed” for Congress to “do their (damn) job”...
Question is, what will he do with it. That, I don’t think anyone can guess.
Flimsey Grahamnesty has said repeatedly that he will work for amnesty until he is thrown out of office.
Time for that is now.
Ghramnesty never stops stabbing us in the back.
Deport them all!

I’m guessing that this is amnesty now and border security someday in the future.

The sting of a one party corporate govt. I doubt they do much to secure the border. Just like the Reagan years.

That "1.8" is only the tip. The shaft will be 18-20 million with chain migration and anchor babies. It's 1986 all over again.

Nice to see Graham is up amnesty planning instead of holding those hearings on the Obama admin abuses he promised months ago. You can’t teach an old beltway swamper new tricks, obviously.
Comprehensive immigration reform, amnesty and compromise are all terms I am sick of.
Someday never comes.

The Simpson Mazzoli bill legalized 3 million illegal aliens under Reagan. Today we have 11 million. If we don’t build the wall and have amnesty, we will see a similar multiplier effect of immigration AGAIN.
