Despite the fact that politicians like U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and presidential candidates U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) have made it a point to call out the top 0.1%, not everyone agrees with their philosophies.
Billionaire Mark Cuban implied that had they been as successful as him, they might not have as much to say about the ultra-wealthy. He remarked that AOCs criticism of capitalism is headline porn and noted the fact she started a business, a now-defunct publisher called Brook Avenue Press.
Bernie Sanders has a book business, you know, Elizabeth Warren buys and sells houses or did, Cuban said. If they would have had the level of success that I and others have had, I dont think theyd be complaining as much.
He is likely referring to how Warren previously bought or helped finance two dozen properties in Oklahoma, according to the Boston Globe. Sanders, meanwhile, profited from his best-selling book Our Revolution.
Cuban made the remarks to Editor-in-Chief Andy Serwer in an episode of Influencers with Andy Serwer, a weekly interview series with leaders in business, politics, and entertainment.

They are jealous of those who have wealth and think they should get a share — just because.
When I start caring about what someone like Mark Cuban says... Well, I still won’t.
Cuban is a blowhard. But, he is like a democratic Trump.
The media has been focusing on the moe radical left and Groping Joe but I could see Mark Cuban gaining traction as a Democratic candidate.
[When I start caring about what someone like Mark Cuban says...]
Yeah, no kidding. I’d call him a “moron” but I don’t want to insult morons.
He actually acts like he believes all the lies he tells are great truths.
I saw an interview with Cuban several months ago when he was being mentioned as a potential candidate and he stumbled all over himself
I personally knew the guy about 30 years ago not well but he was not nearly as inarticulate as he was on the subject of politics
He still comes across better than Joe, Liz or Pete
I disagree. He hasn’t said anything positive about Trump that I know of.
He’s a jackass.
While he may be a smart businessman, he’s a jerk politically.
He is a good pump and dump artist.
Thanks for the mention. I haven’t followed him closely, so this was informative for me.
In a way, I see him as a cheap knock-off of Trump. He just doesn’t have the chops to pull it off.
His public political statements are idiotic.
There was always and undeniable truth in Trump’s statements. Either that or he had a plan and it served his purposes.
