Salem, Ore. - Gov. Kate Brown on Thursday authorized Oregon State Police to round up GOP senators who have staged a walkout in protest of the cap-and-trade energy conservation bill.
"The Senate Republicans have decided to abandon their duty to serve their constituents and walk out," Brown said in a statement.

I think she only needs three of them to get a quorum. And it doesn’t matter how they vote. Dims have the numbers.
To further complicate matters, the Fims attached an emergency rider to this. When it passes, it will not be subject to repeal by a referendum of the people.

Incidentally, 2A activist Rob Taylor just called for SEn. Brian Boquist(R) to have his firearms removed from him, following his comments about “sending heavily armed bachelors” to arrest him. Boquist’s inaction in the matter of getting Orehon’s red flag law is at issue.

Don’t be silly. Oregon specifically excluded blacks in her Constitution. 1859. Didn’t want to deal with the impending unpleasantness twist North and South.

Yeah, just like it’s wrong to have 200+ registered to vote at one address in Portland...and to have illegals vote, and on and on. RULES say if there’s Not a quorum...no vote...how ‘bout them rules, eh?
If you don’t live in Oregon you likely know little of our politics...and if you’ve never run or been elected to office you really should keep your mouth closed.
I do not think our votes even get counted anymore because with a MAIL IN ONLY ballot system it is extremely easy to cheat

I think it was channel 2, showed their pole tonight, where 90+% said they wanted this bill to go to the voters.

Governor Kate Brown organized a walkout in 2001 when she was a state senator.
It is a useful tactic to deny them a quorum when the other side has a supermajority bulldozer.
She is a lame duck and knows it. She is desperate to ram as much commie crap down our throats as she can before 2020.
We asked our Senator to run away.
Yes, she authorized it at the request of the Senate President for assistance. Everything is being done according to the constitution.
They only need to find and bring in two senators to make the quorum number.
Hopefully they are scattered to multiple states and not together.
