They became #3 and they could be higher but they choose to be closed on Sundays.

My fast food choices go like this:

Chili from Wendy’s
Fries from Mickey D’s
Chicken from CFA
Burgers from In and Out
Shakes from Jack in the Box

It is very rare where I would go into these places and order meals. The only place where I might get an additional item is from CFA. I would get the chicken sandwich and the waffle fries.

Buns are always stale? Never have heard that comment about a CFA before. I have never seen a CFA, only know what I read about them.

We will drive out of our way to visit a CFA, and we have to since there are so darn few in Upstate NY, but we’ve never, ever had a bad experience. Always great, fresh food, no matter the location, great service, and a restaurant cleaner than some ICUs I’ve visited.

There’s a reason there are so few in Upstate NY, and it’s NOT a lack of consumer demand or a need for biz that generates tax revenue.

You never get a second chance to make a good first impression, and I have eaten Chick-fil-A sandwiches on two occasions and seeing other people eat them, and their buns Fall Apart. I don’t know if it’s because they heat them in an oven or if they’re just old but they actually Fall to Pieces while you’re eating it. I call it stale. Maybe they should switch to potato bread.

I don’t mind the fries but I’m not going to wait in that line to go get an order of fries.

Oh, and they did carry a chicken pot pie for a short period of time and the chicken pot pie was absolutely wonderful. But they no longer have it on the menu.

I think it is that people just prefer eating chicken over beef these days. Plus, the places are very clean and the service is nice, it closes on Sunday and has a nice American attitude towards morals and culture.

Not a fan of fast food - very unhealthy. But I go out of my way to give Chick-fil-A some business whenever possible. If you order properly, you can get some healthy chicken salads there.

Don’t get me wrong, I love CFA but I hate my nearest one which is a 30-40 minute drive away plus a fifteen to twenty minute wait time. They need to open another location nearby.

The “local one” is an unruly zoo and mobbed with people. They have TWO lines going through a one line drive through at lunch. The attendant standing taking orders (and running your card) tells you to “Wait over in that lane to go to the window. When the red car passes, you can follow them”. So it’s basically a twenty car pile-up around lunch time wrapping around the entire building.

I enjoy going to a Chik fil a because the employees seem to be glad you are there.

They sell a bunch of sammiches, hire quality people that keep customers happy and they can afford to pay them.

There isn't a single government program, city, county, state, or federal, run as efficiently as a Chick-fil-a drive thru.

How McDonald leads is beyond me.

For Ray Kroc, who made McDonald's what it became, cleanliness, speed/efficiency and uniformity were the primary ingredients. The quality of the food and cleanliness have declined since his day, but it is still very fast, a full measure above the next fastest (Chick-Fil-A, In'n'Out), and gal;axies beyond the ones that have beeter food but are glacially slow (Culver's, Steak'n'Shake). Dishonorable mention to Popeye's, which routinely gets orders wrong.

I have no CFA near us. When that hit the national news I wanted to contribute. So I called the nearest one, the next state over, asked him whether they took credit card and told the manager I wanted to pay for the next order in line.
