What is going on with the unending Brexit drama, the aftershocks of Donald Trumps election and the yellow vests protests in France? What drives the growing estrangement of southern and eastern Europe from the European Union establishment? What fuels the anti-EU themes of recent European elections and the stunning recent Australian re-election of conservatives?
Put simply, the middle classes are revolting against Western managerial elites. The latter group includes professional politicians, entrenched bureaucrats, condescending academics, corporate phonies and propagandistic journalists.
What are the popular gripes against them?

The media are trying to make them look like subversive reactionaries in the hypocritical subversive manner of Stalin. The violence and attack on the middle class, the subversion of government representation by this, is obvious, since pauperization leads to elite dominance.
But you will not hear that. Instead, we hear it is the people who riot...
Karl Marx HATED the middle class.
He HATED them.
You can’t use Marx’s ideas, ANY of Marx’s ideas to help the middle class.
But you middle class Marxists just love Bernie Sanders and his Socialism. :)
They may be revolting but not nearly enough, loud enough or hard enough. I’ll call it a revolt when the politicians who exceed their power, talk to loud or too proud are drug out into the streets and beat to bloody pulps.
E.g. Colorado legislators who unilaterally change the way their electoral votes are to be pledged. How dare they usurp the votes of the people in that way!
The article talks about all the excesses in the past tense as if all the battle is over. It has just begun.

Gee, why am I reminded of a quote:
“The Peasants are Revolting!”
“You can say that again, they stink on ice!”
Trump's Nationalism routed globalism all over Europe. Trump-like nationalist candidates swept to victories in the UK, France, Italy, Hungary, Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands. The new EU political stars are Salvini, Le Pen, Farage and Hungary's nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban. All are in talks to form a team of international nationalist leaders....and Trump is the acknowledged world leader..
<><> Mette Frederiksen: the anti-immigration left leader set to win power in Denmark. Under her leadership, the SD have called for a cap on non-western immigrants, for asylum seekers to be expelled to a reception centre in North Africa, and for all immigrants to be forced to work 37 hours a week in exchange for benefits.
<><> In France, President Emmanuel Macron's party suffered an embarrassing defeat to nationalist Marine Le Pen.
<><>In the U.K., Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage won a landslide victory in the EU Parliament,
leading a Trump-like party that was established just six weeks ago.
<><>It appears likely Boris Johnson, the Trump-like former mayor of London, will emerge as the new prime minister of Britain.
<><>In Italy, Matteo Salvini's nationalist party became one of the leaders
of the EU Parliament, winning an astounding 28 seats.
<><> Opposition conservatives prevail in Greek local election runoffs Reuters. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras leftist Syriza party suffered its first major defeat in years to the conservative New Democracy party in last Sundays European Parliament vote, prompting him to say he would call an early election. The snap election is expected to take place on July 7. On Sunday, the seats of the mayor of Athens and the district governor for the wider Athens area were the top prizes up for grabs in the runoffs of local elections. Results showed New Democracy candidates winning both seats, handing the conservatives another boost before Greeks return to vote in the expected election next month.

<><>Elections in India - Voters Reject Handouts! Indian News Sources ^ | 5/19/2019 | Me Posted on 5/19/2019, 9:29:06 AM by Republic_Venom If any of you are watching the end of the elections in India (https://www.republicworld.com/livetv) ......and looking at the exit polls, looks like the voters have re-elected the incumbent PM. He, like Trump, was hounded by the media and liberal elite. The surprising results from the exit polls is that the poor and destitute in India voted for him and not the parties that were offering hand-outs and uber-socialist sops. Australia rejected the liberals, now India has...so has Brazil.
Next up for major rejections.....frickin' US liberals. And I mean demolished.
In typical liberal fashion, Hillary was just an innocent bystander.......never acknowledging her part
tapping Merkel's massive migrant imports as the linchpin to the global body politic becoming unglued.
============================
The new mayor of the "migrant-infested global village" in southern Italy's rural Calabria got elected with the
support of nationalist Matteo Salvini's anti-migrant Lega party. Once considered a bunch of bumpkins, they are now in the driver's seat.
LESSON LEARNED "We will welcome refugees again, but we can't have 500 to 600 asylum seekers in a town with 1,500 residents. The problem is that we had too many migrants and we lost our initial spirit of openness. A whole economic system developed with the migrants, but without making the village dynamic again... The model destroyed itself."
Yeah, sure that was s-o-o-o-o-o "unpredictable." (smirk)
Because elites have no answers to popular furor, the anger directed at them will only increase until they give up or finally succeed in their grand agenda of a nondemocratic, all-powerful Orwellian state.
The attack on the Western middle classes’ standard of living was inevitable once so much economic activity was outsourced to the Third World. Billions of people there want the material things hard work brings in the West, and the elites would rather head that off by reducing the standard of living in the West (rather than have the standard of living in the Third World reach parity). We already see things like families/children and private homes far beyond the reach of many young people in the West; at this point it is even happening with private automobiles (many sacrifice the former just to have the latter).
The idea of a class of people who provide for themselves is frightening to our elites; they need dependent sheeple, not citizens with a measure of self-reliance.
I have never seen this explained by any of them. Just the same old "humanitarian" crap. Humanitarian would be helping those people fix their own nations.
You Can Say That Again
They want a permanent uneducated underclass that will keep them in power and will always support socialism.
The elites are feathering their own nests and shoring up their support so that they don’t have to compete in elections and will always have their cushy lifestyle.
If the illegals that are flooding our borders were going to vote republican, the dims would build a wall like the Berlin wall.
Marxs ideas dont help anyone but ruling class nobles/elites.
We all know that. What I’ve never seen nor heard is the elites trying to explain the reasons for their policies, except for the humanitarian part. Which, I guess, is their way of trying to shame us and shut us up.
Balkanization. To create internal strife in each nation and then offer to be the Strong Man dictator to bring peace - on a global scale.
Post; comments BUMP!
The ‘elites’ are devoted to social experiment; others are devoted to feeding their families.
Dont forget Bolsanaros big win in Brazil.
