... The threat of bringing in dangerous diseases is higher than ever, yet there are no mandatory and universal screenings, quarantines, or universal detention before illegal immigrants are released into our communities, often within hours.

According to preliminary weekly data used internally by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and given to CR by a border patrol agent who must remain anonymous because he is not authorized to speak to the press, over 550 African migrants were apprehended in Texas in just one week - from May 30 through June 5. The lion's share come from Democratic Republic of Congo, the country with the worst Ebola outbreak in the world.

Here's the breakdown: Angola - 101 Cameroon - 6 Democratic Republic of Congo - 314 Gabon - 1 Niger - 1 Republic of Congo - 130

In addition to Ebola, the DRC is experiencing 87,000 cases of measles claiming the lives of 1,500. Angola and Cameroon are also experiencing measles outbreaks, according to The Centers for Disease Control (CDC). ...

Honduras is experiencing a mumps outbreak. ... As of Monday, Arizona officials confirmed 47 cases of mumps in Pinal County, mainly in ICE faciolities, a 10-year high for the state. ...

Also as of May 29, there were 51 confirmed cases of mumps along the general population in Hidalgo County, Texas, the busiest illegal alien smuggling corrider along the Southwest border. ...

Then there is Venezuela. Due to the sollapse of the economy and civil society, the country is experiencing outbreaks of all sorts of diseases. The number of migrants is beginning to pick up, with 47 apprehended in Texas the first week of June.

You missed the part where I said he could take precedent from President Lincoln’s actions during the Civil War.
Lincoln had no hesitation having opposing lawmakers, judges, etc arrested and held imprisoned during the Civil War.

F that. More a waste of time than anything else.

Definitive action should have been taken months ago.

We need a Congressional investigation into who paid for
these “migrants” to get to our border.

And then what?........

History isn't static. It's full of twists and turns, driven by demographics, technology, weather, etc - and sometimes luck.

I get why some become upset when I call out the core facts of the matter - so many have (emotionally) invested in Trump. But my take is that FR isn't Trump Republic, but rather a forum devoted to the idea of self government. To that extent of human desire, the promise of liberty and freedom will never die.

So, perhaps it's time to begin tracing - admittedly in rather antiseptic, impersonal tones - the abstract outlines of what we can foreseeably project. And it's not purely academic speculation either. FR can provide an important historical archive, written as first person accounts during what historians will consider contemporaneous events.

When/if the USA republic 2.0 is formed, people may be fascinated to read & try to understand the times we know only as reality.

And then hang ‘em high. The leaves of the Tree of Liberty are getting very dry. The tree needs watering.

Look, you guys have your Q forum, where people can freely engage in all sorts of fanciful speculation without interference or ridicule.

Why can't FR also serve a useful function in providing real time, fact based analytical diagnoses of what did/didn't happen? Imagine the treasure trove of material future historians will have access as they attempt to rationalize and understand these times?

Quite true.
Just a few years before the shots at Concord and Lexington, almost nobody in the Thirteen Colonies thought of themselves as anything but Loyal British Subjects, and the idea of breaking away from England didn’t even enter into the public’s mind.
Even when Parliament passed the Intolerable Acts, very few in the Colonies thought of independence.
Technology does indeed alter our chances compared to those of our forefathers, and for that reason we have to be wise about how we use it.

must have.

But he can’t do that with all Democrats united to impeach him, if they only had a reason. And with RINO’s wanting the same.

Trump has to do things by the book. Not by illegal and unconstutional precedents set by his predecessor or other war time presidents.

It’s not about Q; it’s about how many of the Senior Executive Service and higher are Obama cronies who openly disobey orders, and try to screw the country.
President Trump is working on draining the swamp worldwide (see May resigning, LePen in France, Merkel, as well as the firing of intelligence officials in Italy), in addition to undoing Obama’s policies, while fighting activist judges, the House, RINOs in the Senate, and the lying press; as well as the RINOs and bureaucracy against him.
He has to get firm control of the DOJ before he can do anything else; and that traitorous vermin Mewler had him tied up with knowingly fraudulent “collusion” BS until just a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone but PDJT would’ve been impeached.

At some point the wise must know when to admit that a failure is a failure and change course.........the time for that with Trump is rapidly approaching. As has been pointed out, he could have stopped this long ago.......with or without a willing Congress and/or Judiciary, yet he has repeatedly failed to do so.
I get it, many here have high hopes for Trump - I did too at one point (and up until quite recently in fact), but the facts on the ground are inescapable and indicate that he will not be the one to save our Republic as we had hoped.
That part is up to us, and us alone - as our Founding Fathers pointed out long ago.

Well Mexico itself will also now have to act since the Congolese from Africa can infect their own Mexican citizens while waiting to get in to the US. They will find themselves in a pickle. They can argue that they can’t stop the border crossers but since they are coming thru Mexico, Mexico will find itself at very grave risk(and so will other Mexicans and other Central Americans trying to sneak in.) The Dems will also be in a bind when the US citzens start screaming at them to close the borders. I plan to pin the blame on my own 2 Democratic senators and Dem congresswoman for playing lets topple the president games instead of protecting American lives!

Perhaps spiritual forces are beginning to move to expose the actions of corrupt progressives and their cronies...but I’m afraid that many may be sickened or killed before we can develop the moral courage and intestinal fortitude coupled with repentance to put these evil people down for good.

Nature itself may have provided Trump the means to close and tightly control the border. A bloody “zombie” disease that no one, not even dems want to catch!

Not sure about what you're trying to rationalize. The Q threads - of which you feature as a prominent participant - are essentially baseless promises of future action. I'm not here to criticize you/others; I stay away or keep quiet. To each his own.

All that I was requesting is that a similar level of respect and/or lack of interference be reciprocated for "realists". Why are you right and I/we are wrong? Why can't a postmortem be conducted as to why the USA republic 1.0 failed? Don't you believe a new, perhaps better version may arise at some future point? Don't you think the type of contemporaneous events we discuss on a daily basis may help shed some light on future tactics?

For example, what if Trump had told the SC to shove it the first time they overturned one of his EOs? We know the outcome of his deferring to other branches of government; which incidentally happen to be in rebellion. Don't you think that maybe future war game planners will wish to consider what-if alternatives if the civil war 2.0 had been immediately launched?

At the end of the day, all we really have is facts. At this point, unless Trump were to declare both State & Justice, along with NY & Calif, in a state of rebellion, then the end game is already being played. If impoverished Africans can be transported and given free entry, without any fear of their backers' prosecution of open treason, then exactly how do you think this is going to turn out any differently than the current trajectory which has already captured California (12% or 1:8 Americans)?

Did you ever consider that what you are proposing is a Mephistophelean bargain?

GWB and gang thought that we should have secret courts. Let's assume that was necessary at the time, (which I think is a dubious assumption). In 2016 the deep state used that system in an attempted coup.

Careful what you wish for.

Mexico will have to act since the “Ebolans” are coming up thru their country and exposing practically the whole country to it and exposing the Mexican and central American border crashers as well.

What a potential nightmare! Those ignorant progressive politicians, ignorant of science, ignorant of medicine, playing gaslight “you are a racist” games with US citizens who want sensible border controls and sensible immigration policies, are going to have blood on their heads if Ebola gets a foot hold here!
