Often these aren’t company policies per se but abuse of power by individuals who happen to work there.

Huh! Go figure. I guess I just always assumed that Free Republic was blocked in China. I don’t ever recall reading a post that was specifically from there. Oh well, There’s always North Korea. Oh wait... ;-)

More sites most likely soon to be blocked.. And loss of more freedoms. The Internet was the great new and free wild west in the flow of information and ideas.
Of course big tech, social media like Facebook and Twitter, along with governments had to ruin it for everyone.
Sorry to say; this was predicted early on but it was a good ride while it lasted. The good news is many will continue to successfully find ways to circumvent these evil doers blocking the flow. It will just mean jumping through more hoops for some.
The dark web available through TOR is still the wild west. I haven't been there in a long time. So far no need but if I do; I will. The governments do keep an eye on it too of course.

Yes it is blocked. It sucks. So I tune up 南征北战NZBZ LOUD! I get a few minutes to post a burst of comments here and there. Perhaps it's best if I just stop visiting FR. I'm sure that many people would be happy that I am no longer posting here. You can go to my blog if you want to read any of my posts. I will no longer post on FR. https://metallicman.com/ Best Regards.
