Posted on 06/11/2019 2:09:30 AM PDT by Chengdu54

It seems that China may now be blocking this site. Just as of today.

If true, then the Chinese Communist Party doesn’t like you Jim. Consider it a compliment.

I've experienced "blocking" in China. Not FR but other sites. It's very common and shouldn't surprise any Westerner.

There is *no* 1st Amendment in Communist China.

What, a whole year's wages? That would be an accomplishment.

Various Freepers at various times live and work in mainland China. We depend on FR as a key news source. Until today, FR has been open. VPN is ok, but often unreliable.

The blocking of Free Republic was ordered by People’s Liberation Army General Yu Dum Dik.

Me, too.

Once we hit $88,000, the IRS requires Jim to distribute any remaining funds to the most active Free Republic members!

Sad it happened but at least it shows I get my news from a quality source.

Various Freepers at various times live and work in mainland China and most of them are Free Traitors™.

Fixed it.

One day when I was employed by General Dynamics I came in before work and tried to sign onto FR. A notice popped up that this was a political extremist site and was blocked. I wandered down to the IT department and spoke to the conservative running it. He said he’d look into it. At lunch I was able to log in. But after they announced they were tracking everything we did on line, they were always doing this but now they were creating reports for management, I would copy/paste a few articles into an email and read them at lunch. The war against conservatism started a long time ago.

On the other hand, a crazy employee went to a “chicks-with-d*cks” website 3300 times in just 30 days and it didn’t trip a flag. He was in an open area and the manager saw him doing it and that’s how they caught him.
