WASHINGTON—House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins on Friday accused Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler of scheduling a “mock impeachment inquiry” of the president for Monday as opposed to a legitimate congressional oversight hearing.
The upcoming hearing titled “Lessons from the Mueller Report: Presidential Obstruction and Other Crimes” is expected to include testimony from Watergate key witness John Dean along with other legal experts to drive the obstruction narrative for Democrats. However, former special counsel Robert Mueller will not be a witness.
According to Collins, House Judiciary Democrats scheduled what appears to be an impeachment inquiry without officially launching an impeachment inquiry but have no plans to abide by long-standing House Rules. Collins reminded Nadler in a letter that outside an official impeach inquiry, members are restricted from accusing the president of a crime.

They are holding a nock impeachment for political vaudevillian show and dragged John Dean out his rest home, drugged him with adrenaline and dopamine to get him off the bed and they will not tell anyone why they did it which is, John Dean has been bed ridden for year with alzheimers and DSB.
They dont have the ability to charge the President with a crime and I suspect Trump will mercilessly ridicule them for this...

They are full of it. Saw some bobblehead on TV saying that Trump ordered McGahn to fire Mueller and that is obstruction. It’s nonsense. First, he wasn’t fired. Second, if he was fired it wouldn’t have stopped the investigation someone else would have stepped in. Third, POTUS can fire just about anyone. Fourth, Mueller should have been fired because he was conflicted.
Not to mention he was vindictive, prosecutorially abusive, politically motivated and that he twisted some facts, ignored or hid exculpatory evidence and entire facets that were worthy of investigation.
Would you expect in any investigation of any kind, where one person (Manafort) was charged with numerous business/financial crimes that the investigators would not even interview let alone investigate his business partner (Podesta)?

That’s all they’re going to do, play act. They’ll most likely have a script to read from and of course at the end of the play Trump will be impeached and then they’ll all get up and high-five each other, the MSM-LSD bunch will glorify it as news. Trump wins in 2020.

This is going to blow up in the Democrats faces like an exploding cigar. The more the people see the ugly faces of Nadler, Maxine Waters, and Schiff the better. While we have a genuine national security crisis on our southern border the Democrats are playing games.

The Democrats are backed into a corner. They can’t impeach, because everything will become public, but they can’t stop talking about it either.

I don’t see this as a problem. As minority chairman, he has the authority to call his own witnesses. And they should be able to slam Hillary, Obama, Holder, and the scoundrels at the FBI and NSA. Just say their names, and list them as unindicted co-conspirators of a whole litany of offenses.
I just hope Trump remembers to thank Chairman Nadler after the 2020 landslide for swaying more undecideds to the right than campaigning ever could.
