Overlooked Poll: 60% Of Voters Find Democratic Field Of Presidential Candidates 'Underwhelming'

Despite boasting a field of more than two dozen candidates for the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee, the most recent Harvard/Harris poll shows that the 6 out of 10 voters find the slate of choices to defeat President Donald Trump to be "underwhelming."

The poll, conducted online within the United States from May 29-30, 2019 among 1,295 registered voters, found that just 40% of American voters find the Democratic options so far to be "impressive" when asked, "Do you find the current field of Democratic party candidates for president to be impressive or underwhelming?" 60% of participants answered "underwhelming" during this survey.

As for who among potential Democratic and Independent politicians voters believe could defeat incumbent President Donald J. Trump, 35% answered former Vice President Joe Biden has the "best chance." The choices offered in this question also included potential candidates like Hillary Clinton. The former party nominee and 2016 election loser polled at just 4%. Still, Clinton performed better than Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who each earned 3% as the "best chance" to defeat President Trump in 2020. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) came in at second place on this question with 11% of voters believing that the Democratic Socialist was the top choice who could most likely prevent a re-election of the current Republican commander-in-chief.

These same numbers more or less followed suit amongst Democratic voters when asked, "Which of the following candidates are you most likely to vote for in a Democratic primary?" Former Vice President Joe Biden received 36% of registered Democrats support from this poll, Sen. Bernie Sanders earned 17%, Sen. Kamala Harris placed 3rd at 8%, and 5% of voters said they would vote for Sen. Elizabeth Warren during the primary.

These numbers could change as Democratic and Independent voters will get a better a look at their choices in the primary as the first Democratic Primary debates are held on June 26 and 27 in Miami.

An old groper, a self-righteous fag, a fake Indian, a fake Hispanic, Farticus, and other losers. God help us if any one of them gets anywhere near the White House.

Not one, not one, of the announced “23” Democrat Party Candidates is qualified, equipped, or experienced to become POTUS. Trump will politically slaughter any or, all of them, with one hand tied behind his back. The 2020 POTUS race is already over....Trump wins in a political landslide!!! Game Over....Case Closed!!!

It would be interesting to see the breakdown in support by age, race and gender.

Spartacus. Buttshine Beto-male. Heelsup Harris. Fauxcahintas. Groping Joe. Breadlines Bernie. If President Trump were less electable there would be fewer Dem candidates, that’s right, fewer.

Fewer, because if the Dems thought they had a good chance at winning, the Dems would rally around 3-4 front runners and not waste Dem money on a primary battle.

Most of the Dem candidates are running to position themselves for future elections, or if there is a Dem miracle, to get a cabinet or ambassador position.

It’s all about name recognition and future fundraising.

Biden sucked support from all the candidates, especially Bernie Sanders. I thought he had 25% lock on the base, he lost 8%.

He is a genuine gaff-o-matic, Americans don't think in Biden pea brain, are the solutions to the issues - he has the best chance to beat president Trump.

When Biden looks like the adult in the room, the sane pick, man you've got crap choices.

Here’s the thing....if you go back to 2016, what you had was ‘the wife of Bill Clinton who had a 6-line resume’, a failed governor of Maryland, a old socialist dude, and Vietnam vet who wrote a book and got into politics.

Then you go back to 2008, your key choices were ‘the wife of Bill Clinton who had a 6-line resume’, a mostly unknown Illinois Senator with a weird name, handsome ‘John’ with his hot lady, a NM governor that no one seemed to remember his name, Delaware’s Joey B, Chris Dodd who withdraw at sunset after Iowa’s Caucus, Kinichich, and some mystery Senator from Alaska that no one seemed to know.

Let’s be honest, the past twelve years for the Democrats has been a ‘joke’.

The Dems have an exceedingly weak bench. None of the Dems running are the slightest threat to Trump.

The old guard (Clintons, et al) have clung to power for so long, that a worthy successor generation has not been allowed to grow into maturity.

Now that the old Democrat guard is on its deathbed, and are too weak to stop the challenges, out come all these mutant children they created - every one of them a freakish caricature - unfit to walk the world stage.
