It is a pig- professional courtesy.
You know what we call a closed garage door in Florida? An Easy Bake Oven.
Release the hounds boars!
Cry ham-hock, and let slip the pigs of war!

Then she shouldn’t be surprised that she had an intruder. Open garage = FREE STUFF TO STEAL, COME AND GET IT
Also, I live in Texas, it’s no better here in summer. Many find that there are now garage ventilation systems that actually work better and don’t require you to leave a gaping security hole.

Problem solved. Way more air movement, no security hole.
I've found that cleaning up blood is a lot of work...

“He reached for something.” Blam, blam, blam. Get a hose and a pooper scooper.

Should have put a hole in him. Easier to keep him under control that way.
‘Why didnt she just shoot him?’
That was my first thought. If for no other reason than to at least slightly negate the Soros judges and prosecutors who will now spring the guy so that he can try again at his next target. Simply put some lead in the guy and, assuming no cameras rolling, say that he lunged at you. Even if he lives, he’ll have a tough time selling any story, particularly in Florida.
Pretty much my situation. My mother in law is a close neighbor and the nearest is several miles away. I call her the mayor of my neighborhood and she calls me the police chief.
She has been out of town before and her alarm system go off and my and my son get up at 3:00am and arm up and go clear the house and find it is a weak battery on a motion senor and as we are leaving and locking things back up the sheriff sometimes arrives(its happened a couple of times) and we tell him it’s clear, bad battery or we call the sheriff department and tell them we have cleared it, bad battery to hear oh, well the deputy is still 30 minutes away. Cancel it and if you get same call the rest of the night ignore it. They know we are her only neighbors.
If a strange vehicle pulls on our mountain top they are confronted and asked who they are looking for and why they are up here since it is posted no trespassing. Usually lost but at times you can tell they are up to no good. We are armed every time we check on someone. Last New Years the neighboring national park was closed for the shut down and had left all their gates to picnic areas open for use. It was dark and my wife and I had just left for a bite to eat and we went one way towards town but ended up turning around and saw a vehicle making it’s way up our road. We turned in and followed and blocked in a woman who was looking for the picnic area on a freezing, rainy night and it pitch dark. She was told this is not the park, we check everyone who wonders up here. She stuttered and carried on quite a bit not making a coherent sentence. She finally left and we followed her into the park and she turned into a dark picnic area. She was either screwing around or looking for a drug score in the park if her story was true, which we didn’t buy. You have to make an effort to get to our place. We are on our own for at least 30 minutes if it hits the fan and we arm up.
Ditto with my folks - live up a logging road with other families in the area. They know each others cars/vehicles and some of there friends as well but when a strange car shows they’re always challenged. One time there was this car parked in the neighbor’s driveway/lawn and people walking about. We asked them what they were doing (neighbor wasn’t home) and the woman said quite flippingly “Oh just looking at the view”
We got their license plate number and said we’ll be showing up unannounced at their place to “check the view” - a couple of our friends are cops and they said they’d tag along.
