The LGBTQ community has won the right to same-sex marriage and achieved unprecedented visibility in politics, media and entertainment. Yet we still lag far behind the straight and cis population when it comes to mental health, substance abuse and HIV rates.
Travis Salway is an epidemiologist trying to close this gap. In 2014, he discovered that in Canada, suicide had surpassed HIV as the leading cause of death among gay and bisexual men.

Both sides Hetero and Homo often do not respect bisexuals having attractions to both sexes. Which is against their love whom you want mantra.
Within the gay community is a sub-sector called “bug chasers.” These folks take “pride” (how jronic! in HIV, actively attempting to contract & spread the disease.
Plus, if news reports are to be believed, in the state of CA it’s now LEGAL to knowingly fail to inform a sex partner of one’s HIV+ status. IOW, it was illegal, but the law was overturned.
Yet somehow, the rest of the world is the source of their problems.

Reminds me of Deuteronomy chapter 30, where it says you don’t need to seek the truth across the sea or up in the sky, because the truth is already there in your heart.

So tell a confused young man that he is looking forward to a life of getting boinked up the butt by thousands of anonymous men.....Then tell him there’s no escape. No wonder they take the final taxi to get out.
HIV doesn’t kill them right away. Knocks 15 years from their lives. AIDS kills them.
