Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed the New York Times on Sunday, describing the newspapers treatment about whether former Trump administration staffer Hope Hicks would comply with a subpoena as Hopes Choice.

It is possible. At times it did seem that HH was vying for attention and maybe trying to compete with Melania. I don’t see Melania being so petty tas o oust her.
Considering the timing, it does seem that it was Trump’s idea, pissed because of her testimony — the day after, IIRC.
Nancy is having a lot of problems with her petulant children these days.
Nancy is having a problem just keeping her upper plate in place...

The classiest First Lady in our lifetimes for sure.
How can you take a picture of Hope Hicks and it NOT be a glam shot?!?!?
I thought she wanted out - was it confirmed that Trump told her to leave? If she had wanted to stay she probably should have had a more demure image for herself.
I wondered if she was competing with Melania...she lightened her hair, etc. I thought she looked better with her natural dark hair.

Boop oop a doop!
Hopes Choice
Would be a great name for a TV show.
Does this mean Oprah is a Racist? She is using Califlower in her pizza pie crust. https://people.com/food/oprah-winfrey-o-thats-good-food-line/
That’s always been my thought, too.
Hope Hicks was potential competition.
“She was a looker. She could make a bishop kick holes in a stained glass window.”. (paraphrase)
“was it confirmed that Trump told her to leave?”
I heard that during her testimony she was asked if she had ever lied for Trump, and she said, “Yes.” (Probably something like “He’s in a meeting” when he wasn’t.) When he heard that soon (a day?) after, he was so angry he fired her on the spot. Might not be true — just what I’d heard.
I do recall one formal function when she was dressed in a tux, flaunting herself, and getting a LOT of attention. Melania hadn’t entered the room yet. I thought, “Oh, that’s not good.”

Looking back, I think it was a signal she was looking for another job. You don’t spend three years being mostly incognito and then suddenly call attention to yourself.
Something had changed. I wish her the best.
Fox News should hire her.
I would watch her read the phone book.
