Trump never revoked John Brennan's security clearance
Washington Examiner ^ | May 25, 2019 | Daniel Chaitin

President Trump never revoked former CIA Director John Brennan's security clearance.

The president announced in August that Brennan's security clearance was being stripped due to "erratic behavior" that disqualified him from having access to sensitive information.

But the White House never followed through with the complicated bureaucratic process of revocation, a source told the New York Times.

Big Mistake. The Fox was left in the chicken coup. Can you imagine what Brennan has done soub rosa to foil the Presidents trade negotiations with china and the Presidents various policies Internationally.

BTW, I am sure the President is not happy that his instructions were not followed.

I have been advocating here at FR that the first thing AG Barr must do it to totally revoke all security clearances, access, etc., seize all govt electronics these traitors have, including their home units (and those of their children), deny them any entry to any government building without DOJ temporary clearances, etc.

This will keep weasels like Brennan from continuing on his insane attacks on the President, AG, etc.

The red weasel is afraid of being exposed, esp. about his lies and direct leadership of some of the Deep State intell ops against Trump and his campaign/administration.

Next, a one way subpoena to a Grand Jury and then to jail, for life. Clapper can join him too as can Comey, Yates, and the other traitorous rats.

Now is the time to strike hard, fast and wide. Let no one escape the subpoena/clearance withdrawal net for any reason.

“After Hillary’s email server, do you still think ANYONE in the Deep State gives a rat’s ass about security breaches?

You’re so...trusting.”

No I’m not. I believe that the “deep state” criminals routinely violate the laws regarding classified information. My comment was simply describing how it’s supposed to work. The problem we have as a country is that NO ONE who violates the law is EVER held to account. When you look at just how hamstrung the President appears to be, and the fact that essentially the entire government “colludes” against him, it is indeed a miracle that he’s been able to accomplish the things that he has. If we jailed everyone who has had a part in the treasonous acts that have been committed against him, we’d have to start a serious prison-building program.

Concur.

Apropos of nothing in particular, have you noted the massive expansion of Gitmo over the last year or so?

The clearance is difficult and complicated to receive, but very easy to remove. Almost as easy as removing anybody in the chain who refused to remove it, if true.

The problem is there are two requirements for obtaining classified information. You have to have the proper ACTIVE security clearance AND A NEED-TO-KNOW. The second part, need-to-know, is not enforced. Even if Brennan still has an active TS/SBI anyone giving him TS information/intel is still a criminal BECAUSE A NEWS OUTLET HACK DOES NOT HAVE A NEED-TO-KNOW.

“have you noted the massive expansion of Gitmo over the last year or so?”

No, I haven’t. Are they building there? Seems to me they’d have to cut a deal with Cubs for more land to have the necessary space to house the crooks if we are really serious about prosecuting treason in our government.

Actually the need-to-know is WAY more important than the official security clearance. In an emergency you can give anyone TS information if they have a need-to-know. They are granted a temporary TS clearance and given the information.

“Actually the need-to-know is WAY more important than the official security clearance”

Absolutely true! The “clearance” is simply a pre-qualification process that gives the government some assurances that you are not a spy. When I worked on classified military weapons programs, I only knew what I was doing. I had no knowledge of what was going on in other programs being prosecuted in the same facility. What was really interesting was when the “hardware” from one of my programs, was waived by a Senator in the Senate where they were “investigating clandestine weapons programs.” That was decades after the fact. I didn’t know whether the Senator was violating classification, or that it had been declassified. A friend who did not know about my connection to the program sent me an article about what had gone on in the Senate, and I felt I could not even respond.

When I read “Hunt for Red October” I was shocked at the amount if classified material in that book.

Those are not my words.

They are from the NY Slimes. They are pure bs.

Of course the Slimes never touches the real story here.

This communist bastard has zero need to know.

Without a need to know, he sees nothing.

No need to know, and regardless of how high your clearance was, you don’t get to know.

“Cutting off their access (especially to higher classification levels/compartments) is a much simpler administrative/operational procedure. Once they leave their position, they no longer have a need to know - read them out, cancel their account, take back the keys, change the combinations - just like they do to regular employees who leave. Allowing continued access to classified systems and information is a perk afforded to top people. The President can revoke that with a verbal command.”

I'm tired of these retired thugs being able to keep their power of intimidation forever...

All of 'em - not just Brennan and Clapper. When these bureaucrats leave they should leave access to power and dirt on fellow citizens behind. And yeah, if their expertise is ever needed in the future I'm sure they can be brought up to speed quickly.

These are the people who think the President of the United States is ceremonial - and THEY are the people who run the world. I can't think of 5 reasons why 'intelligence' shouldn't be downsized by half.

Did they stop Chinese spying in our colleges? Or stealing secrets from our companies? No

Did they improve relations with Russia or STOP Hillary from selling our secrets and uranium? No

Did they stop Iran form atrocities? No

Did they spy on American citizens? Yes

Use the money we can save by downsizing them to DO things like hardening our computer chips and making the American People safer.

That’s what happened. The president said do it and someone down the totem pole didn’t do it.

In the 60’s I was hired as an underground miner at the Mercury test site, north of Las Vegas.

I had to clear an FBI background check to be hired...what was funny, there were four of us hired and I was the only one who made it to the project. My pals had, ahem, several questionable brushes with the law and were sent packing. I was only about 20 at the time and had a squeaky clean record...and still do.
